CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Tho born into sin, I was Pure=White until I become "of age", in the eyes of Jesus. God. I wasn't a sinner, aware of my foolishness, Sin, long. I missed few Sunday AM and PM services, Wed nite, what ever revivals were going on in my Church or others. All BA Christia Churches amuing the White, Hebrew, Chosen Israelite, Saxon, Sons of God. I was baptised in the Ticfaw River at Hillsdale Baptist Chutch on a Crossroads of two gravel roads 7 mile from a small town where Mom went once a month to buy sugar, salt, flour, canned sweet milk, [so good for a boy where you saw two white faces in the Cotton Field .] when we rescieved $48. a month. God was good to us. We had a big garden Mom canned out of each year. She would can milk to be sure we had some. We wete too poor to own a beef or pig. I fished and trapped for most meat. Coon, possum, bull frogs, shoot birds, rabbits wuth sling shot. Not much, but the Lord always saw to our needs. Plus a youger Sister and Brother,yet God did provide. Mom and I cut wood and hauled it to the barn yard where she [100lbs] cut it for cooking and the stove and fireplace. No lights until I was 12 and Mom moved us to Baton Rouge, lou., where we would have a better chance to have a better life. Between Mom, God, the Bible and the "tod", her switch, we turned out okay. Yes. Giving my life to Jesus has paid off well.
Right now, I suffer from bladder cancer, after 4 surgeries, I doing therapy for 6 weeks, then biopsy to see if God has blessed me "in Jesus' name." He does promise ya kno. Ya jest don't kno wen. PTL!! Your prayers would be accepted with love for you. "In Jesus' name", I thank God for you and your prayers.

On January 9th 2011 while listening to the book of Matthew(kjb) on my laptop, the audio was on chapter 23 and as Jesus was was talking in the audio, my ears were opened, and I heard the word of God and believed Jesus was Christ the Lord(God), and upon this revelation I knew how filthy I was and upon this reality I knew I was going to be condemned by Jesus in the day of judgement: Then a great fear came on me that was so terrifying that I shut off the audio because I could not bear to listen anymore. I got up and paced around in my home to shake this fear of condemnation but it would not leave me, so I cried out to the Lord Jesus acknowledging my sins and the last thing I said was have mercy on me. Moments later with my eyes open, I had a vivid vision in which it looked like it was night time and there in the vision was the Son of God crucified and upon that vision I believed Jesus Christ died for my sins: as soon as I believed the fear of condemnation was gone, and I have been changed ever since.

In this forum so is disrespecting other religions. When you guys start following that rule you can complain about the non-Christians not respecting your religion.

Do you know when Paul used the word Conversion, it was nothing about jumping from one religion to another . Paul did not change his religion of Judaism. Jesus never mentioned that he started a new religion? He didn't even tell people to worship him nor he asked his followers to praise him! He did say to FOLLOW HIM, His way .. the way of loving others including our enemies...

That strikes me as strange since Matthew 23 is the condemnation of Pharisees as self-righteous hypocrites. Were you putting yourself into that category?

Paul doesn't use the word 'conversion' in his writings. The only reference to it is found in Acts 15 and there it did involve jumping from one religion to another:
"they arranged for Paul and Barnabas, and certain others of them, to go up unto the apostles and elders to Jerusalem about this question,
3 they indeed, then, having been sent forward by the assembly, were passing through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the nations, and they were causing great joy to all the brethren."
It does not say that Paul converted, but rather than the 'nations' [goyim] were converted.

It felt like he was talking directly to me in that chapter which made it even more terrifying. But Christ be thanked, I have acknowledged my blindness and now I see and have seen: the gospel is true, I am a witness of the word of God which is truth.

I was born into a heavily religious home. I must have caught some of my father's genetics because I was enthusiastic about religion too and had no trouble embracing the faith. Sadly my spiritual empathetic highs turned out to be different, lol.

Curious, if you were a Satanist. Who is the red being with the inverted triangular head and who are the green cloud like mist spirits. I would also like to take you to Mark 15:38 and ask if you can either enter or peer into the Temple? If you have ever seen the passion movie, who is the ugly boy the Satan Figure is holding and do you know his name and what solstice he was boon under? Thanks.
