Some cats are real wierdos. I know one who refuses to drink water from a cup. It only drinks water when it's coming from a faucet, and doing that ofc always ends up with the cat being somewhat wet after it.

I didn't get into CD's until late 90's. I didn't put a CD player in my car until mid-late 2000s.

I didn't get into mp3s for the longest time..... and last year was the first time I ever got a "smartphone".

It takes me a long time to get things the way I like them..... then you yungens and yer fancy changing stuff.... and ohhhh look..... now its time to throw out the clothes I just bought cause they are out of style.... Maybe I LIKE being outdated and owning a car that you dont plug in.

I still have AOL on my other computer, I still have cd's, I don't use mp3's, I don't have a smartphone either.

Sure, why not. Be warned, pretty much everyone in my group is related to me. You know what that means...theyre nuts. Of course, what you don't know, we could probably teach you.

Heck, in a time like that I would eat a carrot..... just don't remind me its a carrot. I will be too busy in "my happy place" imagining it as a taco and that something that was mobile and mooed was in it.

TBH if a zombie outbreak happened..... Id probably forage for berries and plants by choice...... Id be too paranoid that the zombie stuff would effect animals too..... so Id be a bit timid at first til I got more info. That or.... Id get so sick of eating twigs that Id be ready to kill anything.... after like..... an hour.

At least a carrot isn't going to go all psycho living dead on me. If the animals check out fine after a time........ I will eat all the animals.

I cant cook anything, but lucky in life and death situations.... Im a quick study.

We have canned and dehydrated meat. So, meat wont be a problem. And chances are, the virus wouldn't survive digestive juices, so fresh meat would be ok. Do you know what berries and plants are safe to eat?

A few, yeah..... not all of them though. I AM a carnivore after all. I don't do it often, but I know how to camp and seeing as the only thing I can catch when it comes to fishing is an old discarded boot.... its good knowledge to have.

I could survive long enough, but not forever..... If a man can't live on bread alone.... berries is no way to go either and I promise you..... Id be praying that the words of God would once and awhile be to a food of substance if I found myself munching on berries all the time. Even if they were Cap'n crunch berries, Id still long for something much heavier in my stomach.... I hate being hungry every 10 mins... thats why I don't eat Chinese food.

Nah, thing about being an apartment dweller..... I can't give in too much to that fun stuff.

Probably a good thing, I think booby trapping your house and the area around your house is illegal. Id have a shelter, panic room and a self sufficient set up IF I owned a house.

Not cause I think I will need it, but... Id rather be "crazy" and safe than labeled "sane" and sorry.

Outside of the basic norm.... foods, water and my blades of choice..

Id have to unleash my inner bull ninja to survive.

Of course the first thing Id do if we all got in the hand basket for a little ride...... Id get out of H town..... no AC..... this bull is heading west.... until the humidity and heat isn't killer.

I'm a bit of a firearm fanatic. I even have a tiny .22lr Gatling gun I fire for fun. I have a small, functional, cannon. Fires a ball bearing. Ever seen a real Punt gun? Unfortunately, theyre illegal to hunt with. Then again, I live in the country.

One of the guys I used to hang out with back in the day. His dad was a gun nut. The day he turned 18 and joined the Navy, he turned his sons room into a reloading station. His closet was converted into NOTHING but spent shell casings and everything else. He had his own press and everything. When Y2K was "the big scare" I doubted anything would happen, but I was a prepper. I made sure I had enough gas in my tank to get to his parents house. I think to be honest he was HOPING the world would be thrown into chaos so he could say "I've waited my whole life for this" and pull out every gun he has every owned.

Me, I think guns are fun to shoot..... and obviously Id never want to take a knife to a gun fight..... but I've always been more comfortable holding a blade or bow/crossbow. Swords and bows are a work of art and very deadly in skilled hands. Any idiot can pull a trigger, Im just glad that not many gun owners are complete morons (although some are). Funny that the media hates guns so much..... yet they run car commercials all day long. I havent looked at the figures, but Id guess that more people have been killed/injured because stupid was behind the wheel more than a stupid gun owner. If its not more, its likely close. Yet, they don't hate on cars..... unless they are old and are "causing the ice caps to melt..... those poor polar bears "

If its a moving target, you have to be able to "guess" the speed of the target, how fast the projectile will be travelling, and the "future" location of that target when the targets path and the projectiles path will intersect. What my grandfather referred to as "leading the target". Some people can train for years and only be a mediocre shot, while others seem to be born to it.

The media, which is mostly composed of leftists, have an agenda. The MSM is nothing but a propaganda machine being used to convince people that they don't need their "rights". At least not the rights the left doesn't want you to have, such as freedom of religion, the right to keep and bear arms, and even the freedom of speech.

LOL., nah I was joking.... he has kids and now has grand kids I doubt he honestly wanted anything to happen it was just a joke about him wanting to pull out his guns for more than cleaning or heading to the gun range is all.

I know there is more to it than pulling the trigger, but not in most cases. Hunting and if you find yourself with a sniper riffle thats about the only time that wind, gravity...... etc. become a REAL factor. Being the most common gun owner finds themselves owning a hand gun (therefor not REALLY a ranged shot...... it does come down to simply aiming and pulling the trigger.)

Ranged shots or trick shots DO take skill and IS impressive, but the average shot however isn't.

Most republicans and Dems are completely brain washed lemming masses so they don't mind when those they have brain washed spout nonsense. They just don't like it when the other side spouts off. TBH I think both parties need to be dismantled and candidates be forced to stand on their own merit..... will never happen, but it needs to, it would remove the "us VS them" team mentality when it comes to voting. If someone put a gun to my head and forced me to choose Id say Rep..... but again.... I hate both parties.
