With access to an all-knowing deity, playing the stock market should be breeze. Unless that access is only imagined. If only they could predict the stock market, as well as they claim to read the minds of others.
If I deem what you write to me to be worthy of a response, you will receive one. Until then, I wish you the best as well. Why is that?
And based on what objective evidence?
I guess it´s modeled after the way God welcomes people´s "free will" that he has given them out of love. That's the way to welcome other people's opinions.
No, it is the claims of his believers - if I accept for the sake of argument that the deity that they are describing exists - that force me to question his love.It is His love for you that allows for your freedom to question His love.
And you too shall be ignored by me from here on out. So please do not address me publicly in these forums. If you do, your posts will be ignored.
I wish you the best.

My point is that quite a few Christians say that the Bible is true. However, in that Bible, we see God doing things that, if they were done by a human, we would consider abhorrent. It is difficult to see such a deity as loving - indeed, it often seems to me that the notion of God as a loving entity in the way that modern people understand the term is a pretty recent thing. We are also told by quite a few Christians that if we do not believe that the Christain deity exists, after we die we will be tortured forever. Now, we are told that God wants to save us from this horrible fate, which may well be an expression of love were it not for the case that he built the torture chamber and created the rules that dictate who will be sent there. What's your point again?

Can you understand how this does not resemble love? It is the claims that Christians make about their God that cause me to think that he is not a loving god at all - again, assuming for the sake of argument that this entity exists. Christians do not paint him as being a very loving being at all.
If he exists, then he is not a human.Hmm...
Yahweh is not a human. Do you agree?
Ok.If he exists, then he is not a human.
The creator of the universe.
I do not know if this is the answer that you are looking for; Jesus might be the answer if that is where you are heading. Note that many Christians are not in perfect agreement about who God is - if you are after character - as they have different interpretations of the Bible.
