I used to be concerned about what people thought about me. Then I realized that these people I was performing for wouldn't be there for me when I was down and out. They would not love me unconditionally, lead me and guide me, hold me up when I fell.

So I do not perform for men any longer. I am not on stage. I am content to remain behind the curtain while I point the lights down on Jesus Christ who belongs stage center.
