  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What is the defense for planned parenthood harvesting babay brains?

There's a HUGE demand. It's BIG BUSINESS. That's quite an incentive to keep up with the demand.

...Okay, question. How, exactly, does Planned Parenthood stimulate supply? I know, they offer abortions, this is not news to me. But it seems to me that the number of people who want abortions is pretty much completely separate from planned parenthood's activities. Indeed, by any metric, Planned Parenthood's activities do far more to prevent unwanted pregnancies than to encourage them! This whole idea makes no sense.

Planned Parenthood stimulates supply? By "supply" do you mean parts of babies? And how would one "stimulate" supply" of these babies body parts?

What does that mean exactly? Be a good "supplier" and meeting the "demand"?

How could one do that in this case?

Hmmmmm?

Source? I don't think you know what you're talking about. Your claim doesn't make sense anyway since Planned Parenthood does more to prevent unwanted pregnancies. They certainly don't encourage them, which you seem to think they do.

The bottom line of the beginning of your life is that you were "you", a "fertilized egg" was you, a baby.
And there you are now, because you were not torn limb from limb, and the parts of your little body sent here and there

With no conscious thought of feelings. That fertilized egg had potential to not even implant itself. It happens all the time.

The opinion is mutual.

Yes, you were at your very beginning, very tiny, and apparently very loved, because you are still here, aren't you?

So no source? Okay then

Since we're appealing to emotions, do you think a woman who got pregnant as a result of a rape should be forced to carry a pregnancy to term. If yes, why?

Would you care to start with me? I would. Then possibly find a loving adoptive home. Many have done so.

The baby did not commit the crime, did they?

So a woman who was brutally raped should have to endure all the risks that come with pregnancy? She should have to endure the reminder every day of the horrific act that she experienced?
What if she was just starting college? Starting a new job? What if she's married or in a relationship? You're telling me you want to force her to change her life drastically for an event she had no control over? I'm sorry, you have no right to do that.

If you think you can control peoples anatomy, then perhaps you'd be in favor of being forced to donate your organs. You're pro-life right? Can a stranger with kidney failure right now demand one of your kidneys? He'll die without it...he should be able to take it from you right?

But everything doesn't need to be carried on. Fetuses may be innocent as we all know - even sounds ridiculous to provide that line for context, but as a baby is valuable combined with that requirements on surrogate parents adopting a child are (formally?) very high over here where I'm at means that the option left is for the male to take the main responsibility ~ 90%. Parenting is a lot about responsibility. Over here men have very little rights to rearing children aged 3-8 years, full custody is out of the question. So with the current politics and practice over here I don't see any non-revolutionary solution for better conditions for an unborn child - so I'm left wondering if it makes any difference what I could do?
I can share my high values with anyone but not necessarily set an example of having taken care of a child 90% for Months in a row. It's a personal thing - who will trust me?
The solution I see is if I start a new family and I take 75% responsibility and the female takes 80% responsibility, and in order to cope with that instead not stress about making money. Raising a child or two is cheap - finances won't be a problem and I have low incomes in a Western perspective and expect not to share finances with a wife:

i used myself as an example. That doesn't include everyone. Adoption is merely an option.

Your synopsis here is scary.

Over here marriage weighs little, it's a formality to establish the father, especially compared to living in the same apartment (which in turn is not possible in the long run as it gets more and more expensive as the years go by, housing is the actual expense). Even so I see marriage and finding a wife as very important now, haven't always insisted on it. My children were born into marriage, of course, I proposed a year after meeting her, my ex-wife. Anyway my point is: I'd take responsibility if I were given it, could cut down a bit on the expensive and time-consuming theological research I'm doing and focus more on Ancient Languages first. How would someone else's not-aborted child enter my life? I'd welcome it, but how would it happen exactly? Trying to wrap my mind around what kind of males (may (and will)) adopt a child when the original Mother decided not to abort just because of feeling/knowing the baby will get well taken care of?! I.e. how rich do the males need to be? Adopting then actually requires the kind of patriarchal system where the male - whomever's husband (or ready to take care of a child by himself initially) makes a sizable profit from work or a Sole trader or Co.

Not everyone can adopt, but it is kind to consider it.

Thank you.

Considering is still more of an opinion than an act, there's next to nothing I could do to really validate myself for getting to adopt - they basically just stare at the income and/or whether You have a really nice big (preferably low-cost) apartment. I'm surprised they don't require You to have solar panels installed on the roof as well along with all the vanity. Not that there's anything bad about solar-panels - I'm just not up to investing really. EDIT: oh yeah and I tend to forget: You need to be married since a long time - afford to live together (which is actually almost more expensive and definitely difficult to get a large enough apartment and the price of villas are sky-rocketing) and just keep convincing for years (by words?) that You are best friends are Your marriage is sooo strong, and not be too old - basically You should be as young and succesful as possible so that it doesn't bother You if You need to pay the most expensive hobbies for the children - which You need to boast about going to do. Although college is incredibly enough free except for the expensive local language books:

i do believe that there is a smile...

yay!

4d+ultrasound+with+smiling+baby+face.PNG

I don't believe there is a smile. Can it be seen to look like a smile, sure, but clouds can be seen to look like bunny rabbits. All your image shows is the face of a fetus that sort of looks like maybe it's smiling. What is it smiling about? What were its facial expressions before and after this still shot of on instance? Even if it is smiling about something that it is actually happy or amused about, so what? Never mind the 95% of other aborted fetuses that don't have mouths or muscles or faces with which to even smile.

Question: Was the baby in your picture aborted?
