Finally bought a new laptop and this thing is fast. Previously had my other laptop since 2011 and it was seriously getting slow. It could hardly even play a 320P Youtube video, lol.

I do know what you mean. My family has been through the wringer when it comes to churches. We've fought and left so many it's ridiculous. But we were lucky, we never doubted or blamed God over bad preachers or false doctrines. We figured out you can leave the church without leaving God.

Yea, that's good...I'm glad for you and your family.
You know, having identified as an atheist/agnostic for the past two years, it helped me understand atheism in a way I wouldn't have otherwise. It isn't like you choose it, or you are angry with God, or anything. Many people think that of atheists. It's really just that they have grown indifferent to religion, and spirituality...they feel no real need to seek a deity, or pursue a faith life. If it is not evident through sight, through logic...then, it is not necessary. In some ways, I believed that, but there was perhaps always a piece of me that missed my faith life. What is awesome is that now, this all feels new. I'm not that person back there, before I left Christianity. It's all new.
But, just wanted to say that about atheism, because when people leave faith, the reasons aren't always obvious.
