Being a supporting member alleviates the 15-second wait between posts, and using the keypad, instead of the numbers across the top of my keyboard, helps considerably

This explains a lot of it; for financial reasons, I can't be a supporter; would like to though. And there is an additional second lag from typing in the number and hitting enter. I use a touch pad, don't have a mouse, and it is forever moving the cursor to where I don't want it. My arm muscles can only take about 30 minutes of typing at a time; one handed cause of how I have to set; so every post is a work of sweat--so maybe you can see why I wonder about people with a high post count. Envy probably has something to with it too.

I just hit a number - the TAB key - and enter

When you say, hit enter; I have to move the cursor to the "post reply" box to enter the post, is there some way to make it -post reply- without doing this? When I hit enter, it just moves the number down a line.

I'm using IE11 also Chrome; wouldn't that be the same function in FF; or maybe it is another benefit of being a supporter?

With Internet Explorer: type the number, then hit TAB ... ENTER ... ENTER.

NUMBER - TAB - ENTER - ENTER; NUMBER - TAB - ENTER - ENTER, etc.

I just tried it with IE11 and it works-- the key is using the tab key--it posted the post without moving the cursor, but having to wait 15seconds and one time it had an error come up saying I needed to wait 8 seconds--takes all the fun and any of the speed-up out of it.

Ya ... that's were becoming a site supporter comes in.

It takes that 15-second wait out of the equation.

Well worth it!
