Has anyone else noticed that the other community section on CF is gone now? What was it called, 18+ Hangout or something? Weird.

Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I didn't notice that, but I did notice that the Single's link moved from the center column to the right.

I think I like it. I'm not sure yet.
I thought they did away with sigs, but when I signed on they came back. I'd welcome that change, I think sigs look untidy and unnecessary, but I guess you can always turn them off. I'm wondering why I have an old avi though? lol

I'm sure they changed forums for technical reasons and I respect that, but looking at this site on my 42" monitor* is a white space nightmare :/ Not only because there's tiny black text that gets lost in vast fields of white, white light is hard on the eyes and some of us can't tolerate that. I hope there's a way to turn the background another color aside from turning the brightness of my screen down which isn't easy to do on my monitor. Ugh, writing this statement is about all I can take, this place actually hurts my eyes.

A few of us were giving feedback based on browsing on a mobile. I think this is were a lot of this update is coming from, before the server change it was horrible on a phone.
