The only force holding Satan back is the "one who restrains" also know as the holy spirit. Things will get much worse very fast when He is removed and the Church of Christ is taken with Him.

Not really, no. It might work for a country or two, but the ENTIRE population? Even places that are effectively sealed off from the world, like North Korea? No.

There's really no data that these thing occur more than they used to. What's changed is our ability to track them and record them. Two hundred years ago, if an earthquake happened in China, nobody in the US would hear about it. These days, it's impossible NOT to hear about such things.
