CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.
True , Out of town left our gas cap on the pump , we went back it was still there .. Why would I even think to check .. My wife had actually pumped the gas .. Maybe the delay saved us from an accident .. Who knows ?

Why pick on the odd and unusual?
I mean, all those times you DO put the gas cap on properly.... why shouldnt that be the supernatural too?

I think it ultimately boils down to semantics with the term "supernatural" and how one defines it.
It's similar to "impossible". If something impossible happens, to say it is impossible is misleading. It happened, so it's not impossible. Even if it has never happened before. The term "impossible" is no longer satisfactory since it did happen.
The term "supernatural" I would categorize the same way once an event transpires and effects the known universe. I think that term is insufficient on a practical level concerning actual events and things that would happen in the natural universe, regardless of how extraordinary they may be, for a number of reasons. It doesn't mean the event doesn't have an extraordinary origin or cause, just that the term itself seems insufficient imo.

If there's no difference between natural and supernatural, then we certainly dont need two words and two ideas to categorize it all.

I can show you from a simple example. The answer first: Truth is orthogonal and hidden. The natural world is what you see. The supernatural world is above the natural.

Look at the dot above. It has no dimension, yet it is the end of a 1D line. Now, move the dot at right angles and you get a 1D line.

Move the 1D lines at right angles to themselves and you get a 2D plane.

Stop here and imagine yourself living on this flat existence. You would see forward, backward, right and left, but know nothing of depth (up and down). To you, these are supernatural. To God, depth is seen clearly from all angles.
Move up one dimension to 3D. A 3D creature looking down on a 2D plane knows the other two dimensions.
Move one more level up. In 4D, we are now in temporal dimension rather than spatial. Spatial is still in existence, but temporal movement allows the changing states of matter in space. What two dimensions are hidden from you? Past and Future. You must conceptualize these as orthogonal to your position in space. Of course, once you hit the 3rd dimension, your orthogonal choices are limited only by impenetrability. Two things cannot occupy the same space.
It is with that last sentence that we now have the answer. Alhtough we can only speculate how our own impenetrability of space/time is affected by objects occupying competing time and space, we can move this up a level to see how laws are the same barriers to what we assume to be natural law.
Collapsing wave function in physics is the collapse of indeterminate wave function. At any given time, we have a multitude of choices allowing us to change the states of matter below. Above the natural plane of Linear existence, laws govern the shadows below.
5D is probability. We collapse a wave function to make a choice. That choice then creates the shadow of time. The shadow of time is 3D. The shadow of 3D is 2D. The shadow of 2D is 1D. We then end at the dot as the last part of the determination to abide in law to change the states of matter.
What is above law, probability and all the shadows below?
Supernatural choice (Providence).
Now you know. Once you know, you can determine the indeterminate by knowledge. Wisdom allows you to use knowledge with care. Law is a restriction that will be taken away.

23 Before the coming of this faith, we were held in custody under the law, locked up until the faith that was to come would be revealed. 24 So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith. 25 Now that this faith has come, we are no longer under a guardian.
All it takes to move up the dimensions and remove law is Faith. Faith determines the indeterminate. If you had enough faith, you would rule the natural world from above. Since you don't yet, you can't. There is still a guardian.

forgive me but i am not watching an hour long video E actually i have a better question, i have heard about 4th dimension but never anything about a 5th dimension let alone speculations on what it would be like. could you tell me more about your ideas about it? in fact i am not sure what you mean by "moving" dimensions you make it sound like 3d or 4d is a location.

To change the states of matter in time (4th dimension), the collapse of wave function must take place. Before a choice is made, the observer has a multitude of probable states to choose. Like time implying past and future events, indeterminate probable states of change are collapsed into the timeline, then appear as shadows descending down the dimensions. The first video I posted explained this from the mouth of a respected physicist.
The fifth dimension is where choice is made. By necessity, consciousness is nonlocal to the temporal/spatial dimensions below. This is the best evidence of all that evolution as a cause of our reality is false. Evolution is not a cause, but a result. Involution is the cause.
