Well there was no meeting with the preacher today on me getting baptized because he came down with something and is sick. So now when he gets better we'll have to reschedule the meeting again. I swear the forces of evil is keeping me from getting baptized as each time we schedule something with the preacher something comes up. No fault on the preacher though.

I am good bro thx but iam still having trouble getting onto CF. I am using my phone now which has its own frustrations.

Are you having trouble getting on CF with the phone or on the computer? If it's just the computer, perhaps you should try clearing the cache and cookies in the browser...unfortunately that does mean signing back in to everything you're signed into...but sometimes that can help, especially when CF has had so much trouble recently...the cache might remember that gateway thing more than it should lol

You're welcome...Haylea Westenra is a beautiful artist and her music makes me cry. That song sometimes can really move me...it is so beautiful. When I think of how angels must sound, her voice and her songs are what come to mind.

Here are some verses that went along with the sermon yesterday. I forgot where they were but a friend of mine reminded me of them this morning, so here they are. They actually only used verses 12-14, but I found the rest of the verses in the passage to be encouraging. These were spoken in the beginning of the sermon:

John 14:12-21 "Truly, truly, I say to you, whoever believes in me will also do the works that I do; and greater works than these will he do, because I am going to the Father Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask me anything in my name, I will do it.
"If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you.
"I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Just got back from seeing my therapist. He said that I'm making good progress but I am still to impulsive. Apparently I'm mostly ready to go to step 2 but I still need to keep working on controlling my temper. He said that next week we will start with step 2 and he continue to teach me better ways to cope at the same time. Seems kinda stupid to me, but if he thinks it's what I need to do then i'll try it.

That's great that you are making good progress! It sounds like he is really helping you a lot. Controlling the temper can be hard but I promise you can get there. I'm glad you have a good therapist, not a lot can say that. I know some of the ways that it work seem stupid or tedious, but it's all in an effort to figure out what works for you. You'll get there!

To be honest, it makes more sense to work on step 2 first IMO. Because step 2 actually addresses the root of the problem instead of just teaching ways you to deal with the impulsiveness.

I can see what you're saying. It seems like working on the root of the problem first would make the most sense. Perhaps maybe they do it the way they do it because of how much the impulsiveness can control some of those who are struggling with the disorder, so they want to help calm the impulsiveness down first. *shrugs* Hopefully getting to the root problem next week will help you a lot!
