Hi all,

I know I don't post here much but I do like reading the posts here.

I have a big day this Sunday as after 1.5 years of studying I am being confirmed. I really excited and nervous at the same time. I have never participated in communion before and this Sunday will be my first.

Congratulations! I would advise you not to worry about 'doing it right' but simply focus on receiving what is being given to you. The rest will come in time.

Thanks everyone. The confirmation went awesome. I was nervous until I got up there and then I was fine. The sacrament also was amazing. I felt so different afterwards. I can't explain it....calmer?
After the service the congregation was so kind and congratulating me. I feel like I am part of the Church now and not some guy who sits there every Sunday. My wife and son were also made part of the congregation.
