CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I do have to admit, the scenery is outstanding. It is truly a paradise. The beaches are so clean and unspoiled.
Here is a typical New Zealand Christmas day. The tree is called The Pohutukawa Tree, it only blooms during Christmas.

About yesterday:
I want to tell you all that Sunshine is allowed to participate in the thread... of course! I would not exclude someone from a Christmas party.
That said, I told her she was allowed to participate. I don't know why she ignored me and kept talking about it
but anyway, I repped her to say that she's welcome, within a minute of her first post in the thread.
I don't see why she chose to ignore me and get EVERYBODY involved in our friend problems.
Oh well.
I'm leaving CF for a break... or forever? I'm not sure when I'll be back. There are just too many issues on this site that I can't deal with right now
I will either come back for Christmas, or have a friend (possibly Army Wife) give out blessings. I'm sorry, I want to be here for the Christmas party, but I can't.

Gracie, please dont leave. You are a good influance here and would hate to see you leave. Please reconsider and know that many here want you here. Use ignore or try to work out any issues. I dont use uignore a lot but it does work and help
