One of my math teachers (a REALLY nice guy) passed away this year. I just looked him up on FB and read through all his FB status updates. Here's one from December 20th.

wanna feel like a million bucks??? then do what i did last nite. went to walmart and picked a random lay away to pay off. some family had put on layaway a clock radio, a caterpillar?, a teapot, a barbie doll, and a flying fairy. i simply paid the bill. so today, or this weekend, when they go to settle the bill, someone will say to them . . . someone paid your bill, i guess it was santa.
i didn't do this cause i'm a good person. i did it because i'm older and wiser, and i know that, when all is said and done, the only thing that really matters . . . is what we do for others. and i also did it because it just feels so good . . .

It's an interesting idea for a random Christmas gift.... I would like to do that one of these years.

I want to share this story I was told today. We met a door greeter today at Walmart that had a touching and wonderful story. He told us that he came from Montana to here because God guided him to our town to be healed in a town east of here. He was on deaths door and was diagnosed with an unknown disease by the doctors in Montana. Well he came to the town we live in and went to the town of Lawton OK to be healed which he was. He had a lot of ailments but now he's fit as a fiddle.

Goes to show you that God does indeed care for His children young and old but of course you already know that but I thought I'd share that story.
