I think the minions are beginning to feel at home here

good afternoon my friends! (at least it's afternoon for me)

To update everyone, here in the States it's a big holiday--the last one of the Summer. My internet provider is based in a resort city which sometimes makes getting online during holidays pretty dicey, so that's why you haven't heard from me. I'm just fine and i have some good news to share as well.

to further update--yes, i did get the apple pie and it's in the fridge waiting to be baked. I have a good supply of whipped cream as well and sliced cheese to melt on the top. I'm going to have a very yummy dessert tonight thanks to my chums here for waving forks full of apple pie in my face.

Now for the good news---
1. My leasing office did find our lease renewal contract (finally!) so the office manager is signing it today. That means that we get to stay where we are for another year at a reduced rent! YEA!

2. My computer is back online. For some reason the modum would not connect, so that's why i haven't been here.

3. After waiting for almost 8 weeks i finally got full funding approval for some necessary hip surgery, which will be happening this Fall.

4. my new TV was hooked up to my cable box so i can finally get to morning mass via EWTN again!

All of this has come down in the time i've been offline. A busy time, but finally some projects have a completion date in the forseeable future.

5.Oh! and i got the bindings attached to two new quilts as well!


I want to thank all of you for the good thoughts, prayers, and sweet messages you've sent my way while i've been offline. I love you all.

and now i have lots of reading to catch up on, and a new pub to explore!
