CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

ok, Mexican Chicken soup is on to boil! i made a big pot, enough for a week of lunches. It freezes so well! will put the apple pie in the oven later. Dishes are in the dishwasher and the sink and counters are cleaned up.

Got to Alabama last night. Got in the ocean for a bit of a swim, but the waves were pretty rough. Back in the condo watching the Arkansas vs Auburn football game. Will be going out to eat seafood (hopefully crawfish!) soon.

We see all the NFL games in Ireland and the UK. It's been popular for many years and is only getting bigger.
I'm a Jets fan for my many, many sins...
College football is great too but doesn't get as much coverage.
I was at a Highschool game last night between two Penn. schools. Great action. Some really big 16yr old kids as well as small ones in fairness.
