Millions of dead things laid down in rock layers all over the world? What else would you expect from a global flood?

If from a flood they would be all mixed up in the same layers of deposition. Also please point out specific global flood layers. And are you an OEC?

Dear Rick, Easy. Sometime in the middle ages (1622) the word "evolution" began to be used. Specifically, it's the term for unrolling or unfolding, but some scientists changed to the word evolution, which is what Christians have always believed, and that is changes within His kinds, because that is the phrase which is in Genesis. Those are the kinds Jesus made with His Own Hands. Today, Science calls them "common ancestors".
You must keep an eye on those Godless Scientists. I refer to them as Godless since they have REJECTED God's Truth of Genesis, and left mankind in Ignorance for hundreds of years now. God Bless you and God bless those who THINK they know more than God.

The fossil record is the remains of the critters that God created, preserved in layers of sedimentary rock laid down over millions of years. While there are many very similar fossil remains, which leads one to believe in gradual change, there are others entirely unique, apparently springing into existence without the benefit of having similar relatives from which to evolve from.

If God put it there with an embedded age, it is an outright deception. No if's, and's, or buts. Blatant deception. As for the bible (Genesis), it is either meant not be literal or it is not the word of God. No other choices.

God did not create a fossil record during the creation week.
As I have said before, it was never His intention for fossils to ever exist in the first place.

I start with the biblical account, which states that God created everything.
Then I examine what God created, myself in particular.
I conclude that indeed I was designed and created in the very form that I am now.
I cannot conceive of any other way I came into being.
Same for the other critters, going all the way back.

Evolution is just a label. It is mankind looking to the past and seeing and interpreting the processes used and are being used for Creation.

Explain the fossil record without evolution?
I am an Old Earther since I show that the morning of the first Day was some 25+ Billion years ago. I was saying that "evolution" is NOTHING more than "changes within His kinds". Those are the kinds Jesus formed which Science calls "common ancestors". Changes within the kinds the Trinity created, are the same. It's descent with modification, and happens everytime a baby is born.
You do know the difference between His kinds and Their kinds. Don't you? God Bless you.
