You seem to be conflating issues. I would think that time is more of an issue for the universe, rather than the past on earth. The reason people lived longer here likely would not be because time passed slower.

Focus.



Don't think of light traveling slower or faster in our spacetime. I think we know that is not likely. Now if our laws and forces and spacetime were not the same, THEN light may be able to do things it can't do here.

For example creation took 6 days, and the stars were made I think on day four. How could distant star light be seen by Adam on day 6?
When it indicates trees grew fast, light behaved differently, and spirits lived with men, and men lived 1000 years almost etc...that REQUIRES something other than present state physics!

Or or, hear me out, have you never considered a biology explanation for people living longer? Say, DNA repair being better, etc. Because that is the sort of stuff that causes aging, not physics really.

Not that it matters so long as you can't prove anyone has ever lived longer than 122 years.

That is not known. Show me where modern coslology is in the bible? There is however, in the bible an indication that a star visited earth at the time of Jesus. The star of Bethlehem. We also know there is an association with spirits and the spiritual with stars. We also have the time frame when they were created, and an earth and observers to callibrate the data!

You can't prove they didn't. That means you are in no position to question the record.

I can't see some mere biological tweak resulting in ten times the length of life for man. (and animals). We also have data in the bible that suggests trees grew real fast, and spirits could live here with men. We also have all the water and land separating in creation week with no great friction and heat produced. We also have stars seen days after they were made. We also have all life on earth (save the sea life) on an ark about 4500 years ago! That means that all species either adapted and evolved SINCE then rapidly, or the ark was a lot bigger than it was. Etc.

Have you ever seen a Newton's cradle?

Those things are neat.

Five suspended balls in a row and etc., etc.

Energy in the past could have traveled through a medium that transferred it much faster than today.

Like sound reaching you through a wall before it reaches you through the air.

The light from a star could have near-instantly reached the earth back then, without even being subjected to the Doppler shift.

Proof is overrated. I go for the high probability, based on weighing the evidence. Then I pick the best option and go with it . . . a step of faith, if you please.
