I know some may see this and say No True Christian will be sexually immoral, but I ask this mainly on the fact there is so many sexually immoral Christians out there. Lets be real alot of people in the church are getting it on just as much as non believers. Just about every Christan I know is having sex outside of marriage and some dont care and tell me they are saved, so they are going to heaven anyways. Most virgins seem to cave in by the age of 25.

Galatians 5:19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery,[a] fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[b] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1 Corinthians 6:9-10
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals,[a] nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.

Ephesians 5:5
5 For this you know,[a] that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God.

Revelation 21:8
8 But the cowardly, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone, which is the second death.”

I know there is always the OSAS debates vs Works dont save you debates as well, but do you truly think a born again Christian that has accepted Jesus as their savior, but they continue to have sex outside of marriage despite what the bible says will happen to those that habitually practice this making it a lifestyle, go to heaven if they have not repented of it?

What does it mean to practice known sin?

Keep in mind the believer is not under law!

Why? Because all of us, as far as the law is concerned, are sinners.

If we aren't under law how can it condemn us?

It can't....

Then what's the issue with practiced, condoned, known sin as a legitimate lifestyle?

It's simple: Self-righteousness....

Look, many sincere Christians fall into sexual sins. Look at King David for example. The thing is what do you do with these besetting sins?

1] Do you acknowledge it (repent)

or

2] Do you excuse it?

The latter is not repentance, rather it is justification of it. That's practicing sin.

A practiced sin is one where you refuse the robe of Christ's righteousness. That's self-righteousness and self-righteousness is unbelief. Unbelief can cause you to apostatize.

No. So stop sinning.

1 John 1

8 If we say that we have no sin, we are deceiving ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar and His word is not in us.

Now what?

Calm your nerves.
IT was just a discussion me and some friends were having and this came up because the topic came up on a Christian radio station as well about the issue about sex in the church and that studies show belivers are having even more sex than unbelievers who are not married.

So we started discussing can someone who knows what the bible says about that and how the scriptures can no sexually immoral person will go to heaven, will they go to heaven if they decide to live like that and died without being able to turn their life around.

-One said it didnt matter, so yes they would.
-I said I couldnt get mad if Jesus said NO since scriptures does say dont live like that
-Two others said they were not sure
-The others said no.

Not unless they repent.

We all slip up form time to time. I did in my 20's and knew what the bible said, but I did it anyways. I got to the point where I had to repent and try not to do it any more until I am married.

Some of my friends on the other hand, just continue on and has been with 5-10+ women and think nothing of it. They go to church on Sunday and praise God, but they just have sex with every girl they meet and they know what the bible says, but they dont think it matters.

I might know 2-3 people that are pure and still waiting, so I know they do exist.

You are equating "not having sex" with being "sexually pure". Does that line up with how Jesus spoke of sin?

Consider this:

John 3
16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His [e]only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. 18 He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the [f]only begotten Son of God.

And:

Romans 8:1

Therefore there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus.

And:

1 Cor. 3

14 If any man’s work which he has built on it remains, he will receive a reward. 15 If any man’s work is burned up, he will suffer loss; but he himself will be saved, yet so as through fire.

Salvation by works is impossible.
Your correct no amount of Good works can give you salvation, but the words out of Jesus own mouth in Rev 21:8 is that sexually immoral people will not inherit the kingdom of heaven.

When I say sexually immoral, Im not referring to people that have had sex and trying there best to repent of it with a clear heart and turn away from it, but the many so called Christians who just seem to think nothing of constant sex outside of marriage with no regards to what scriptures say about it or what Jesus says will happen to those that practice that type of lifestyle.

I bring this topic up because it is probably one of the biggest issues in the church we face today with all the gay pastors, baby after baby out of wedlock, and no restraints to premarital sex now.

No one has stopped sinning....That's not the issue. The issue is what do you do when you knowingly fall?

Do you repent?

or

Do you justify?

If you justify sin...if you say that sin is really not sin, then you don't need a Savoir. That's the issue.

If you don't have Christ you have death.

If you persist in sin as a lifestyle you are being self-righteous. You are calling evil, good. You are saying I'm not sinning.

1 John 1:8 If we claim to be without sin,http://www.biblestudytools.com/1-john/1.html#cr-descriptionAnchor-17 we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.http://www.biblestudytools.com/1-john/1.html#cr-descriptionAnchor-18 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sinshttp://www.biblestudytools.com/1-john/1.html#cr-descriptionAnchor-19 and purify us from all unrighteousness.http://www.biblestudytools.com/1-john/1.html#cr-descriptionAnchor-20

1. It is not your purview to judge another person's heart. This is God's purview.

2. Faith is the determinant of salvation, not works.

3. I agree with you that sexual immorality is a problem today but it was also a problem back in Jesus time.

Let me add another verse to the ones I quoted in my post above.

Romans 5
8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, having now been justified [e]by His blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him.
