So, which bothers you more? If you please, you can leave a little bit of exposition about why

  1. The Bureau of Land Management pointing sniper rifles at unarmed citizens. Abducting people for no reason. Etc.
  2. Cliven Bundy's use of antiquated words and condescending but well-meaning racial rhetoric

Perhaps the poll should be rephrased, "What do you find more offensive, the constitution raping, uncontrolably violent BLM? Or good ol boy Cliven, never meanin no harm, makin' his way the only way he know how. That's just a little bit more than the law will allow."

Erm, I wasn't trying to contrast him making a living. I want to contrast his antiquated, somewhat condescending racial rhetoric. And, Constitution aside, I want to contrast his rhetoric with the BLM pointing sniper rifles at unarmed civilians. Those two things seem to be to hot agitators, so I want to get people's opinions about the two in a one-on-one.

Fairest and most unbiased poll I've ever seen

"Antiquated", "somewhat condescending", "racial", and "well meaning" all accurately describe Bundy's rhetoric. "Violent" and "intimidating" accurately describe the BLM's aiming sniper rifles at unarmed citizens and unwarranted abducting.

Neither are biased.

I'm appalled at the BLM. They have the authority to bring force and automatic weapons to back up their evil rhetoric.

In my mind, the sniper rifles, abduction, etc, is quite literally equivalent of the tanks and businessman in Tianenmen Square. Would you say that's going too far?

BTW, if Bundy's rhetoric bothers you more, then feel free to say so, and say why you think it's worse.

I would say that Tianenmen is completely unrelated to this issue.

Well-meaning racial rhetoric?

Now I have heard it all.

The man is a freeloader who is calling other people freeloaders.

I expect only the fringe will continue to support this man.

Bedford, we're dealing with an elderly man whose profession doesn't encourage the development of good social skills... There are prefectly reasonable explanations that would explain his comments that doesn't involve him actually being a racist...

For me I think the BLM's behavior is worse in more ways than one. A government agency threatening people with guns, dogs, etc. is far worse than the rantings of an old man.

Seriously, I believe the Feds wanted to have a violent confrontation and only backed down when a lot of cameras ended up on the scene and other people with guns showed up. That's the only reason I can think of as to why the Feds would haul in that much firepower and behave in such an aggressive manner.

I wish you'd stop giving racial motivated attacks a pass because the man is elderly.

I have said it now over and over and it is ignored. The man summed up what he though of the 'negro' based on driving by government housing. Yet it is dismissed.

The LA Clippers guy is old, should we dismiss his racial motivated attacks?

I wish you'd stop giving racial slurs a pass because the man is elderly.

I have said it now over and over and it is ignored. The man summed up what he though of the 'negro' based on driving by government housing. Yet it is dismissed.

He was commenting about how welfare programs had destroyed the strong family structures that used to be seen among African Americans, and he believed that's why so many African Americans are in poverty today. Looks more like he's blaming the government for widespread poverty in African American communities, not claiming that African Americans are somehow inferior...

The LA Clippers guy is old, should we dismiss his racial slurs?

Considering his profession involves public relations and therefore would have to have relatively good social skills as a result, barring the possibility that LA Clippers guy having Alzheimers or something, my answer would be no.

Why is this man not paying his grazing fees?
Answering a question with a question is not answering the question.

And in this case, it's not even a legitimate rhetorical response.
