• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Not only did water not behave according to present laws such as thermodynamics, but mass such as land and rock would have not produced or retrained great heat!

How else could oceans of water fall from space? How could the continents have quickly separated?

That doesn't really answer my question. Does water turn to steam in this different state? If not, why not?

The reason that atoms do what they do is because of forces we have in place. If they were different, one might as well ask...why should they produce great killing heat????

The entire model is weak, dad -- without knowing anything about the past state, all Walt has is speculation, right?

In what way is his model weak? Is there some reason to think they was no big lake that could drain, or...???

You're the one who said water didn't behave according to present laws back then -- backpedaling already, dad?

So there was no heat in this past state? Were things composed of atoms, at least?

How could water behave with laws from another state and time?? Try to make sense.

I assume there were atoms. How else could we have ratios of isotopes that were left when we entered this state?

'What features would a geologic feature need in order to falsify a recent global flood?'
An absence of features attesting to a flood, foolishness!

If you ever find any features that are a challenge let us know.

So now you're saying that water behaved back then just as it does now. You've just debunked your own "different state past" argument.

What do they look like?

Their existence would falsify the Flood, since the Flood was designed to destroy them.

And you would certainly know if they existed or not.

The fact that they are gone, shows the Flood to have been not only real, but worldwide.

By your same reasoning, the suggestion of the following image that Odin exists is true:
