J.Prince, Osteen... you might not agree with them but they do not tell anyone "you can go on sinning without consequences

Sorry darling but... Mr Prince and Mr Osteen both are publicly on record saying your sin means nothing to God, and it doesn't matter when you sin.

I haven't heard Joyce Meyer say anything like this as she actually teaches that living in sin will get you in to trouble although I somehow get the idea that she does teach that once you get saved you are guaranteed to go to Heaven when the New Testament teaches some do lose their salvation.

But, these other two guys are teaching a modified form of universalism which is false doctrine.

Gospel Guy, who said anything about the devil becoming saved? I think you have never heard or even know the meaning of obedience of faith!!! Look into that, because that is your part under the new covenant of God's grace!

Many universalists believe satan will be converted and saved at the end of this age.

You should actually live in obedience to God's Word and forsake the false grace that is sending many Christians to hell for rejecting Christ in favor of doing they own thang thinkin they following Christ.

This is why Jesus tells some in the end "depart from Me, I never knew you"... because some do not allow Him into their lives which is what today's false grace message brings because it teaches OSAS so many people cast off restraint and choose to be close the world instead of being close to the Lord.

Jude 1:3-4 NLT
Dear friends, I had been eagerly planning to write to you about the salvation we all share. But now I find that I must write about something else, urging you to defend the faith that God has entrusted once for all time to his holy people. [4] I say this because some ungodly people have wormed their way into your churches, saying that God's marvelous grace allows us to live immoral lives. The condemnation of such people was recorded long ago, for they have denied our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.

The NLT is a false translation... as most of the new modern translations are as they push their agenda by changing the original text found in God's Word to change what God is saying.

Jude 1:3-5
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.
For there are certain men crept in unawares, who were before of old ordained to this condemnation, ungodly men, turning the grace of our God into lasciviousness, and denying the only Lord God, and our Lord Jesus Christ.
I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not.
(Beware of OSAS doctrines)

This is actually a warning against the false grace being taught today...

Let's look at the Greek, Gospel Guy, since you are an expert on bible translations. The word turning is the Greek word "metatithēmi" which means to transpose (two things, one of which is put in place of the other)! If you remove grace, lasciviousness takes its place.

What's your excuse now? Is the Greek false also?

Your bearing false witness!Causing Strife is a sin you know, now go away and read your ol little KJV bible in your basement.

No false witness here... just the truth as it is obvious when one sees that many Christians are living worldly lifestyles these days, ignoring the Lord's instruction to live apart from the world and belong to Him exclusively

This is undeniable, making this scripture true that many today are turning God's grace into lasciviousness....

I replied Gospel Guy about the verses in Jude and brought out the Greek meaning but he just ignored it all together. He is definitely not interested in the truth, he is just so blinded by His self righteousness!

Yes, I read your posts. Thank you, I always appreciate the research that goes into a good post. I don't want to judge GG bc I know we are all on a path and his maybe longer and rougher bc of the course he has chosen.... I would think a little humility would be one of the signs of someone filled with the Spirit... we can only pray. There is so much to be gained by compassionate discussion, even if you still end up disagreeing you have learned something and possibly made a friend or encouraged the brethren. It is never about who is right bc the Lord is going to do it His way whether we understand it or not... its all about our journey into Jesus. If we get lost in our own heads... we can get all puffed up full of head knowledge and lose our hearts in the process... I love the way the Lord teaches us... if we're willing...
God bless, andrea

If you remove grace, lasciviousness takes its place.

That should read... if you remove TRUE BIBLICAL GRACE.... lasciviousness takes its place.

Most of the grace being taught on TV today is false grace because they do not teach repentance and they make a mockery out of holiness, without which nobody will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14)

He is definitely not interested in the truth

Gospel Guy is not interested in truth being twisted into a lie

You may be living right, but there are many Christians that think grace means they do not have to live for the Lord and they can sin if they want without repenting or asking for forgiveness according to 1 John 1:9

You'd be amazed at the things that are being taught and how people are receiving it thinking they can live just like the world.

a little humility would be one of the signs of someone filled with the Spirit
Jesus and Paul had some tough things to say... reckon they were not filled with the Holy Spirit?

Gospel Guy are these verses difficult to understand? Do you need help to understand them?

Ephesians 1:7 NKJV
In Him WE HAVE redemption through His blood, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS , according to the riches of His grace

Ephesians 4:32 KJV
And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, EVEN AS GOD FOR CHRIST'S SAKE HATH FORGIVEN YOU.

Colossians 1:13-14 NKJV
He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love, [14] in whom WE HAVE redemption through His blood, THE FORGIVENESS OF SINS.

Colossians 2:13 NKJV
And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, HAVING FORGIVEN YOU ALL TRESPASSES,

Colossians 3:13 KJV
Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: EVEN AS CHRIST FORGAVE YOU, so also do ye.

Gospel Guy...Are you saying that REPHAIAHPEDAHEL doesn't seek TRUE BIBLICAL GRACE?

Most of the grace being taught on TV today is false grace because they do not teach repentance and they make a mockery out of holiness, without which nobody will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14)

I don't know about the rest of you guys, but Gospel Guy, you have said this a few times before and were ready for some names of these false teachers you keep bringing up? I have not heard of anyone that I listen to that doesn't preach or teach repentance and (turn away) from sin, nor have I heard any mockery from them pertaining to holiness.

I faithfully read the Word first thing when I get up, and then do bible studying from various WoF teachers that do teach abundance of amazing grace and repentance. (Biblical Grace ob-course). What other grace is there? I have listened to several years of Copeland, Capps, Savelle, Duplantis, Hagin, Winston, Creflo, Wommack, Kieth More, Fred Price, E.W Kenyon, Wigglesworth, Paul Billheimer, Billye Brim etc. (Just to name a few) How does my list compare to your list of false teachers?

Oh! I forgot to say that "I am allowed" to listen to Joseph Prince and Benny Hinn. (I choose not to listen to Hinn), but I'm allowed to if I wanna. Were you the one who said that God won't let you listen to them in your earlier posts? God doesn't dictate what we do or don't listen to. Right or wrong, That's our choice, and I choose, according to (Deuteronomy 30:19) as to which teacher/preacher that I listen to. And this scripture is about "our" choices, in what we choose in life, not His. I believe that the list of teachers that I (mentioned above) are indeed teaching the Word in "life and blessing" for us, through the wisdom, and understanding of the knowledge of Him.

I am 100% Word of Faith, however, I do not believe everything that comes down the pike. I assure you that most, if not all of our friends on this forum are the same way. I may choose to believe otherwise in some areas of what is being taught in the Word. Yes, there are some out there that are not teaching the life or blessing of God's Word that could lead to cursing and death as (Deuteronomy 30:19) says. God will lead us, (if we listen to Him) on who they are, but it's still our choice to either listen, or stay away from them.

All of us can agree that His Word is foremost... "first place."

You'd be amazed at the things that are being taught and how people are receiving it thinking they can live just like the world.

Again...I don't know of anyone (on our forum) or any WoF teacher who teaches or believes this. We all teach repentance (turning away) when we sin. If one is "just" living like the world, then they are "of" the world and they need to get born-again.

Probably, not everyone on this forum believes that all of our sins were already forgiven... past, present AND future. This was settled on the cross 2,000 years ago. The sins of the whole world (from all time) were all nailed to the cross and that means even the ones we commit tomorrow. (MHO)

Much of this is repetitive, but It is what I believe, and all the teachers of WoF that I listed also believe.

My question to you Gospel Guy...Why are you so argumentative here on our forum? I don't embrace Catholicism, but that does not mean that I go down there on their turf and stir up strife in their beliefs.

Now, back to your list of false teachers....Who are they?

I like what Andrea411 said...I love the way the Lord teaches us...if were willing...

Greater works...
