The things I miss when I leave town for awhile. :D

The more things change the more they remain the same.
Gays are entitled to get married in much of the country today. However, there's no law that says they're entitled to force someone to work for them.

All the name calling that's being levied toward the religious in this forum by the atheists who elect to join a Christian community is very telling as to the motive that brings that atheist community into this one. And from what I can read it isn't to learn about the faith but rather to insult it, ridicule, condemn, criticize.

I know a Christian forum that forbids atheists from joining. I can see why.

A Christian isn't a jerk for holding to their religious values. A gay couple who wants to legally persecute a Christian for holding to their religious values is.

There are plenty of photographers who can photograph a gay wedding. It's like anything else, when you find someone that doesn't want to do business with you for personal reasons, presume they won't do a good job if you throw the law in their face as a reason to reconsider. And find someone else.

It's not like there are no gay professional photographers in business in this country. Nor gay bakers. And besides that, there are plenty of people who would be happy for the money no matter who a person is marrying.
I'd have no problem with that. I'm here to make money, pay me, get married, who cares? I'm not blessing the wedding, I'm taking snaps of the ceremony.
If a God were to judge me for making my living when Satan by his decree not only lives on earth, but operates with God's permission, the gays that are sin filled and in the power of that Satan are not my fault. They're God's creation and his creation Satan and his fault. Judge that. Not me.

I don't think gays should be allowed to persecute Christians that they feel have to make a religious choice to make a living or violate their personal sense of morality and right living.
No Christian would stand a chance, much less dare, to bring in a whole dead hog they'd just killed on their pig farm to a Muslim butcher to ask if he'd cut it up in parts for their freezer. And no one would ever say that Muslim has to comply with what is Halal or they're a jerk! Or discriminating.
Nor would taking the Muslim to court be an issue either.

Why is it that the Christians have to bow to gays who know their faith and in light of that seek them out with the intention of forcing the Christian either to serve them or go out of business. It's a religious war that the radical gay community have set forth against the religious.
When they say as much in interviews, that that is their agenda in matters of marriage, I believe them.

That atheists join as allies and support that agenda is not really surprising.

Please point out the part in the Bible where it says that Christians must refuse to offer a service they provide because the person requesting the service is gay?

It never said that McCarthy was a member of HUAC. You are making stuff up.
He was accused of what the HUAC did, made guilty by association and made to appear to be part of the HUAC. Sorry if you missed that in the post

I don't recall one. I do recall Jesus saying something about even tax collectors treating other tax collectors fairly and calling on his followers to NOT restrict their fair dealing to other Christians.
