Did you know that the Greeks had batteries and that they were electroplating jewelery well over 2,000 years ago?Does that mean that God made lightning 500 years ago?

Mr Strawberry said:How's your god doing with world hunger and a cure for cancer. Any progress from your god on the HIV and AIDS front? Oh that's right, your god doesn't exist does he. Or if he does, he's not done anything for over 13 and a half billion years.
Yeah, that way you can pretend that disease and starvation and dying in childhood are all good things really.
Thank goodness!

What's wrong with death when you're not YOU?
Yes but science is quick to cover for themselves. When we show them two aids tests the first positive for Aids and the second negative then Science is quick to say there is an error in their test and sometimes they get a false reading. For cancer they still use the spontaneous remission theory. I know people that are in a 10% category according to their doctor. So if you want to try to match us on that let me know.Any progress from your god on the HIV and AIDS front?
Explain.

All I am saying is if we produce someone that has been healed of aids then science is going to say the first test had a false reading. That is the excuse they use to try to worm their way out of having to explain how the people got healed. This is a lot more common in Africa but there are people here in this country that are healed. They usually do not talk about it a lot though. The possibility of false positives/false negatives was already understood before the test was ever administered.
No that is science in action trying to worm their way out of having to admit the truth.Lol, that was your god in action was it?

The bottom line is still the same. We get people healed of Aids and your going to find a way to explain it away. The only "proper cure" is the miracle power of God working in their life. Of course when people are healed then they have to turn away from their sin. If they go back to their sin then they could end up getting sick all over again.Well, considering that false positives are a real thing, and that there is currently no proper cure for HIV/AIDS, it is not unreasonable to suggest that the first test was a false positive. Even if a person had an true positive test and then later a true negative test without receiving any treatment whatsoever, the possibility of some sort of natural immunity cannot be ruled out. So for both of those reasons, when a positive test is followed by a negative test, there's no basis for invoking God as the reason.

Most of the people we deal with are in Africa got aids as a STD. As I already said the people your refering to here usually do not want to talk about it when they get healed. They like to just keep it to themselves and not make a public issue out of it. They have no reason to prove anything to you. Esp when your just going to call their cure an error in your test. There is nothing we can do if you do not want to accept the truth. What sin? Getting a blood transfusion is a sin? A nurse accidentally pricking his finger on a tainted needle is a sin? Getting raped is a sin?

I thought it was ancient Egypt. They've found various pots with corroded copper and iron in them. They might well have been primitive batteries, but I don't know whether that's just speculation or not. I saw it on one of those 'Amazing mysteries of the ancient world' type programmes.

Did you mean 'when it's not you?' although that would be silly too. Nope, completely baffled.
It does not matter what the Greeks called Tyre. It matters what Zeke and the boys called Tyre. To them, if you read the Bible, it was the island city.
All old cities build on top of themselves. The fact that you may have to dig in places to get to the old buildings does not mean that Tyre is not still there. If you go by that standard then London is no longer there since it has been rebuilt several time over.
Also it said that Tyre (again the island city, in fact the etymology of Tyre is "rock" for the rock the city was built on) would be swept clean never to be rebuilt again. New buildings are there. The whole places was never swept clean. Even if the prophesy is extended to Alex, the Muslims, the Romans, all of the people that regularly conquered that island it was never utterly destroyed never to be rebuilt.
Plain and simple it is one of the most obvious failed prophesies in the Bible.
And you keep forgetting about the second part of the twofer. Nebby was supposed to defeat Egypt. He didn't.
If your city lives on kawaii and you out grow it and then live on the mainland hawaii, you still call it hawaii islands do you not?
There are many unanswered questions in science. That's why scientists do research. Currently, no one knows how universes come about, but research is being done on the question.
500 years ago we didn't know what the source of lightning was. Does that mean that God made lightning 500 years ago? Are you really saying that the best place to find God is in our ignorance?
