No-one has mentioned Dragonborn yet?

Who let this thread languish for three months?

we can't ALL have stopped playing Skyrim, surely.

Are there any Oblivion fans here? Just trying to start into it and.....it's....challenging o_O
Star Trek Online!
Dawnguard kinda killed Skyrim for me. Just couldn't get into it. Didn't even try Dragonborn.

I'm still going with my original game and the DLCs have extended that quite a bit. Still have to do the Dark Brotherhood and Civil War questlines from the original game as well. Level 62, hoping to get as close to level 81 as possible. I don't really like the idea of making skills legendary.

Played Skyrim so much that I pretty much know every corner of it. I got bored of it now, I might start playing again if they release a new DLC or something.

Oblivion is awesome, you just need to get the hang of it, I guess. I'm playing it again and I needed to get used to it a bit since I was playing Skyrim for very long time.

Speaking of Oblivion, anyone heard of Morroblivion? It's a mod converting Morrowind map and quests in Oblivion game engine. They're making the same thing for Skyrim but it's not yet finished.

That's pretty cool. I never got to play Morrowind, so maybe that would be a good route to take.

My favorite. :) Really harnesses the spirit of the RPG genre in my opinion.

I prefer dark or wood elves and find that without conjuration battle can be very difficult, the same cannot be said for Skyrim but I also think it is a fun game. Plus it's hilarious to hear that man's voice yell "STOP RIGHT THERE CRIMINAL SCUM" when you accidentally pick up a spoon while in someone's house. I have never completed all of the missions.

I still have yet to play the game in any detail. Every time I turn around there is some new mod to download and then i get picky about what I have in my mod list...lol.

I think that I finally have my mod list done, so I am about ready to play the game through finally.

That's why I don't play with mods until I've explored the game. Too distracting. Unless it's a mod to fix a weakness like the MENU!

I would like to think that way, but after reading stuff about how crafting levels you too fast, that there's not enough training per level to max your skills or many other things, it's hard to not want to correct them...lol.

I have been thinking about just playing through with just a mod to get a Husky companion and nothing else, but after I just spent this long on my mods, I don't see that happening.

The other thing that bugs me are the modders that make having every DLC a requirement for their mods. They're was a better crafting mod then the one that I have available, but it required all the DLCs. Not all of us can afford to buy the DLCs as they come out.

The Pirate Bay is your friend.

Playing with mods can be fun but it's always better to explore the game first without them and then find some mods. I mostly use mods for better graphics and maybe add a couple of other modifications, nothing too much.

Not sure that encouraging someone to torrent is wise on a Christian forum.

I'll wait to buy the DLC's when I have the money. I'm content with the base game since it aloe is huge. I can wait for the better crafting mod.

My other problem with exploring the game without mods is that once I play it through, I'm not likely to play it through again.

You can still use pirated version till you get money to buy legal one.

Well, Skyrim is pretty big game with lots of different options to play through so I don't think that should be a problem. At least I think so.

I've also been burned one time too many by a mod that ended up scrambling the game into non-playability. Once bitten! lol

Skyrim is definitely one of those games with killer reply ability. I still may go back and play again one day. And I've played with at least EIGHT characters! It's one of the only games ever that I don't get tired of playing on those early levels.
Win!
