I was hoping he would as well, as I see nothing out of the ordinary.

I saw a video on youtube describing the alleged problems with the photo. It didn't have audio, but the jist I got was that they think the shadow on her right leg at her hemline is suspect as well as what they think is grass by her right hand. It was pretty ridiculous.

I'm still not clear what the whole photo-shopping thing proves anyway - what? Katsung's reply didn't prove anything. The young teacher didn't die? How does a photo one way or the other prove a govt led conspiracy with pre-programmed shooters? Being a cynic it seems to me a conspiracy by the conspiracy theorists to try and blacken and besmirch the good name of Vicky Soto because they are concerned that she will in some way become a symbol of the anti-gun movement.
Given that the CNN footage was taken from a helicopter then it would be more suspicious if they were just over the right school when the police went in, than they were over the wrong school and presumably saw police attending that one too (and either didn't check or just though that it was good footage) - we had many bomb explosions in NI that were due not to some sinister plot by the heroic men and women of the RUC and British Army to put the murdering animals of PIRA in a bad light but simply due to mistakes - one of my friends was called out to bomb at a petrol station, they cordoned and searched the area only for there to be a loud crump a mile down the road and they realised they had gone to the wrong one. If you believe, as you seem to, that your govt is evil then of course you will believe in all these conspiracies - i don't believe a lot of what the Syrian govt says for that matter.

The CNN footage is only 'false' to the extent that they're airing the police raid of St. Rose of Lima, which is about two miles away. The Sunday after the Newtown shooting, there was a bomb scare, and that's footage of them handling that situation.

So yeah, you caught them...making a mistake. Of course, it only took a few minutes of looking for a real answer before I found it, but in that time, I suppose it's easier and more exciting for you to conclude the whole thing was a giant conspiracy. You were saying something about willful ignorance?

Even if they were photoshop'd how does that change what happened?

If you were the hero of a national tragedy, would your parents/relatives/gf etc have enough photos to give to the news? What are the chances that you had two separate photos of you wearing the same exact outfit in the same position and with the exact same expression? I challenge you to go through your photos and find 2 such photos. I have hundreds of photos of myself and I can't find 2 where I am wearing the exact same expression, in the exact same outfit, with the exact same pose.

Photoshopping and putting it on the news is deception, the same way air-brushing models to change/enhance their physical features on magazines is deceptive.

Where there is deception, there is a need to hide something. I thought everyone knew that?

Again, there's a very simple answer.

1. It's a school photo, and they took two photos (and probably more) in a short amount of time, while the curtains were being closed behind them. Since the first photo has been cropped, I would suspect that both photos show a full scene, but whomever wants you to believe this is a conspiracy cropped out the children, which would show that they're two separate photos of the same event, and you fell for it.

2. Here smile is not the same in the 2nd photo, either.

But hey, bombs away. Carpet-bomb us with nuclear levels of nonsense.

No, it doesn't mean you are part of any conspiracy. It means you touched up a photo in order to give a slightly false impression of what was caught on camera for the sake of modesty. I'd argue that it would be more ethical to have the senatorial candidate's wife change her top instead of pretending a photo is bona-fide when it isn't.

The photo-shop of Ms Soto, on the other hand, isn't for the sake of propriety or modesty, it's an outright lie. Those legs belong to someone else. What does it show? Unlike you or me, there doesn't appear to be enough real photos of Vicky to *not* create false ones.
