Think again...
Psa 37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.

10
For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.

Hos 13:3 Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney.

Mat 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the repository; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Heb_10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

Luk 12:46The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not forhim,and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

Job 27:19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he openeth his eyes, and he is not.

You keep copy-pasting the same stuff over and over my friend and not replying to the replies disproving your not looking at the rest of scripture to understand this scripture ... surely you see this is a waste of everyone's time and BORING ... it's called trolling and it is against the rules, so please stop... I'm with you Dana, we all have a little bit of Job in us.
Say the wrong things some times, get the truth out of order more than we should.
Get picked on by friends, wheather we think we deserve it or not.
Then learn our lesson, we hope, as we close our mouth and agree with God.
And come out smarter in the end.
Praise His Holy Name.

but really you will never understand by looking at only a few lines of scripture
Here are a few more for you to observe:
Rom 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy;

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.

2Th 2:8 And then shall the wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

Hos 13:3 Therefore they shall be as the morning cloud, and as the early dew that passeth away, as the chaff that is driven with the whirlwind out of the floor, and as the smoke out of the chimney. But what about the rest of the story?

Mat 3:12 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the repository; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

2Th 2:10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

12
That they all might be Judged who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

...try reading the WHOLE scripture my friend... then you will understand these few scriptures very differently than you now do , that God is Love ... as I have shown you repeatedly from scripture but you ignore the rest of scripture that could reprove your false interpretations...

or better, just stop sinning and God will be able to explain it all to you for FREE , the gift of endless being He cannot deny anyone...

just realise that if you follow Jesus by Love he commands, no sin abusing others , then God will teach you Himself and you can ditch all the learning from books by sinners and/or the mistranslated bible you always quote as if it even could be riht when it disagrees within itself ...

John 16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

so why not try God's method for a change , begin with the foundation, build from there :-

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

one cannot obey Jesus in Love as a sinner, sin is abuse,not Love... one seriously cannot expect Jesus to take anyone still sinning, he has said he will NOT :-

Luke 13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.

so why not see if you accept these crucial BEGINNING scriptures , because if you stop sinning Jesus promises God will teach you Himself, no need to keep flogging the dead teachings of sinners like some dead horse... the Truth is waiting for anyone prepared to stop sinning and Love as Jesus commands... he is not one's Lord if one disobeys him and sins... lords are those one obeys as Jesus says too... it is not a game , but for real...

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

sinners do not do the will of God, but the will of Satan... Jesus cannot take anyone who will not stop sinning... they have chosen their lord...

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil

I think it is YOU who is ignoring the Scriptures, my friend.

well I am the one who keeps quoting them and you never reply to what I point out ... you never indicate any scriptures except mistranslated ones and just ignore the literal translations... what can anyone say except that God OFFERS to teach you Himself according to Jesus' promise if you simply OBEY Jesus' commandment and Love, stop sinning... but you will not do it , claiming God asks the impossible, but He doesn't ...

2 Timothy 2:19 Nevertheless the foundation of God standeth sure, having this seal, The Lord knoweth them that are his. And, Let every one that nameth the name of Christ depart from iniquity.

Jesus proved man can live without sinning at all, God only requires that one stop all the sin one knows one has in preparation for spirit baptism so that it doesn't kill you.... that is a reasonable request and it is an awesome free gift on offer which will kill you if you don't stop sinning first...

what do you get out of believing what sinners taught you ??? ... nothing !

:doh:Rom 9:18 Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.

so God hardens some folks for a while, so what ???

God also says He is the saviour of all men , why do you not read that too?

For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy;

20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
I already answered you countless times and you ignored me all of them ... we KNOW the many are destroyed in this earth and few are saved at Jesus return -Matt 7:13-14, but ten LATER countless many of all nations are saved - Rev 7:9-10... so as one can work out many ways, resurrection if from the spirit, much as creation is ... one cannot destroy the spirit as it is of God ... so we KNOW how the many are later saved who are destroyed utterly in the end of this earth and heavens in the wrath of God ... God re-creates them in resurrection of all folks from hell -Rev 20:13 ... and jesus too was destroyed [Greek 'apoleia'] in crucifixion, destruction cannot end the spirit , all are resurrected who die sinners ... death is even denied eventually, so the ONLY way out of life is translation to spirit, salvation... bt no-one gets saved until they perfect Love in life [baptism of fire]
2Th 2:8 And then shall the wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

yes indeed all men get destroyed [Matt 7:13-14] after Jesus' return except a few tens of thousands of saints [Jude 1:14] BUT read the REST of scripture, where then do the countless many saved in Rev 7:9-10 come from ? :doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh::doh:

where then do the countless many saved in Rev 7:9-10 come from ?
:confused: They certainly are not the wicked who did not obey God that they should believe such a lie.

Rev 7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they? 14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of the great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.

Rev 6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:

Act 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Rev 5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;

Rev 7:14
They are seen taken out before the judgments on the Antichristian apostasy; with their Lord, they, and all His faithful witnesses and disciples of past ages, wait for His coming and their coming to be glorified and reign together with Him. [JFB]

But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away. 2Th 2:8 And then shall the wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.
2Th 2:11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:
2Th 2:12 That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Your personal translation proves nothing. You learned from sinners just like all of us, except those who were directly taught by Jesus.

there are several Literal translations and none of them are personal to me ... and I have never learned anything from sinners about scripture.

why do you not learn what Jesus and the saints said about how to learn the Truth from God ?

Then you should clearly state which translation you are referring to.

Did you learn anything from Paul?

Romans 7:24 (NASB)
24 Wretched man that I am! Who will set me free from the body of this death?
why do you not learn what Jesus and the saints said about how to learn the Truth from God ?
I could ask you the same.

Bad things happen to good people because of what is said at Ecclesiastes 9:11, 12, in which king Solomon says under inspiration: "I returned to see under the sun that the swift do not have the race, nor the mighty ones the battle, nor do the wise ones also have the food, nor do the understanding ones also have the riches, nor do even those having knowledge have the favor, because time and unforeseen befall them all. For man also not know his time. Just like fishes that are being taken in an evil net, and like birds that are being taken in a trap, so the sons of men themselves are being ensnared at a calamitous time, when it falls upon them suddenly."

Hence "just like fishes that are being taken in an evil net, and like birds that are being taken in a trap", so there are dangerous and deadly events that afflict mankind at an unexpected time, that was not planned nor prepared.

For example hurricanes or typhoons or tornadoes or torrential rains, with these often bringing death and destruction. Insurance companies have labeled these as "acts of God", but they are far from this, the result of weather patterns turning hostile.

Another reason why bad things happen to good people is that God's archenemy, Satan, wants to break the integrity of God's faithful servants. As an example in the Bible is that of Job, who was targeted by Satan to taunt our Creator, Jehovah God. Initially, Jehovah allowed Satan to test him, but not to touch him personally.(Job 1:12)

Later, however, God permitted Satan to "touch him as far as his bone and his flesh", but not his life, to see if Job would remain loyal to Jehovah God.(Job 2:5-7) Job suffered the loss of all his children, his business, and his wife requested that he "curse God and die."(Job 1:13-19; 2:9) Yet he remained faithful.

And a third reason for for why bad things happen to good people is found in this principle: "Whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap."(Gal 6:7) Some people make bad choices and reap a measure of suffering, such as not doing a particular job safely so that an accident occurs. Or not taking seriously to maintain their car so that the brakes fail, causing damage to one's life. Many do not feel the need to work or be safe, using techniques that are unsafe, ' reaping what they sow.'

The Bible writer James brings this out: "When under trial, let no one say: "I am being tried by God." For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death."(James 1:13-15)

Thus, when a person catches AIDS or another STD disease, is it God's fault or is it because a person gave into wrong inclination and committed fornication ? If a person involves himself in criminal activity and dies, is it God's fault ? Each person has to make decisions, but many make unwise decisions and thus endanger their lives, being "drawn out and enticed by his own desire."

Wrong.
Gen 8:1
And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: and God made a wind to pass over the earth, and the waters asswaged;
Psa 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth. 6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

Psa 35:5
Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.

Wrong again, God is in charge and he does not allow anyone to supercede His power.
Job 19:21
Have pity upon me, have pity upon me, O ye my friends; for the hand of God hath touched me.

Psa 71:4 Deliver me, O my God, out of the hand of the wicked, out of the hand of the unrighteous and cruel man.
And a third reason for for why bad things happen to good people is found in this principle: "Whatever a man is sowing, this he will also reap."(Gal 6:7)
Correct
The Bible writer James brings this out: "When under trial, let no one say: "I am being tried by God." For with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try anyone. But each one is tried by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire. Then the desire, when it has become fertile, gives birth to sin; in turn, sin, when it has been accomplished, brings forth death."(James 1:13-15)
"When being tempted, let no one say: "I am being tempted by God." For with evil things God cannot be tempted nor does he himself tempt anyone. But everyone is tempted by being drawn out and enticed by his own desire.
That is conjecture and not founded on each individual situation. Did they repent?

Psalms 11:5 does not accurately say that "The Lord trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.", but that "Jehovah (Yhovah, not adhonai) himself examines (Hebrew bachan, meaning "to examine, prove (qal) to examine, scrutinise to test", Old Testament Hebrew Lexicon, "to test (especially metals); generally and figuratively, to investigate", Strong's Exhaustive Concordance of the Bible, H974) the righteous one as well as the wicked one, and anyone loving violence His soul certainly hates."

Hence, Jehovah God does not "try" someone, as James noted at James 1:13, but that he examines their moral character to see whether or not these hate violence and love righteousness.(see 2 Chron 16:9) If anyone is determined by an ' investigation' that such are really wicked (as at Sodom and Gomorrah, Gen 18:20, 21), then these will have God's anger against them, not as by a "test", but as by their destruction, unless these repent as many have done, so that they receive "seasons of refreshing" from Jehovah.(Acts 3:19)

At Jeremiah 17, Jehovah God says: "The heart is more treacherous than anything else and is desperate. Who can know it ? I, Jehovah, am searching (Hebrew chaqar, meaning "to examine intimately", H2713) the heart, examining (Hebrew bachan) the kidney's, even to give to each one according to his ways, according to the fruitage of his dealings."(Jer 17:9, 10)

There is a difference between examining someone and passing judgment on them. At the incoming "war of the great day of God the Almighty" called Armageddon (Rev 16:14, 16), then all that have been judged as morally deficient and hence "wicked" will suffer the symbolic death-dealing "fire and brimestone".(KJV)

Jesus called such ones "goats" at Matthew 25:33, that are placed on Jesus "left" hand. Just as at the Noachian Flood, all but Noah and his family were deemed as "wicked", suffering symbolic "fire and brimestone"(Gen 7:23), whereas the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah suffered literal destruction by "brimestone and fire".(Gen 19:24)

In the Bible, there is seen that God protects his people against those who strive to destroy them. At Psalms 35, David asks: "Do conduct my case, O Jehovah, against my opponents.....say to my soul: "I (Jehovah) am your salvation"....May they become like chaff before the wind, and let Jehovah's angel be pushing them along."(Ps 35:1, 3, 5)

This is not a test, but rather David request Jehovah to pursue his enemies, who reward David "with bad for good" (Ps 35:12), such as king Saul. However, David, though oppressed by ones such as Saul, "when they became ill, my clothing was sackcloth.....saddened I bowed down."(Ps 35:13, 14) David wants Jehovah to be "magnified".(Ps 35:27) Without reading the whole chapter and getting "the sense of it", one is like Satan that took Scripture out of context as at Matthew 4.

And at Job 19:21, Job was unaware that he was being put to test by Satan (Job 1:12), but rather felt that Jehovah God was the one testing him. At Job 1, after the loss of all his children and business by Satan's hand, he proceeded to say: "Naked I came out of my mother's bell, and naked shall I return there. Jehovah himself has given, and Jehovah himself has taken away."(Job 1:21) Hence his words at Job 19:21 whereby he said that "God's own hand has touched me." Job may never have learned that it was, not Jehovah, but Satan that caused all his suffering.

Due to improper rendering of Hebrew and Greek words, it causes confusion and at times, even outright misdirection of what our Creator, Jehovah God, has said in his word the Bible. The King James Bible is well noted as being inaccurate throughout, mistranslating words and complete phrases. When one sincerely examines (bachan) both ancient Hebrew and Greek manuscripts without bias, these can determine that the way many Bibles read is not "on the mark".

Thence, James wrote that "with evil things God cannot be tried nor does he himself try (Greek apeirastos (from G1 as a negative particle) , meaning "untried, i.e. untemptable", G551) anyone."(James 1:13) However, he has and will pass judgment against those who, in the final analysis, are judged as "goats" (Matt 25:32, 33), unteachable by him, and therefore rebellious.

I, Jehovah, am searching (Hebrew chaqar, meaning "to examine intimately", H2713) the heart, examining (Hebrew bachan) the kidney's, even to give to each one according to his ways, according to the fruitage of his dealings."(Jer 17:9, 10)

everyone is 'teachable' ...all knees will bow to Jesus, try Love and find out that it works far better for them too than sin...

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Revelation 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

God's 'pleasure' is that the wicked turn and Love , and He will do all His pleasure , as He has said He will from the start that ALL will accept His counsel and so Love all...

Ezekiel 33:11 Say unto them, As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways;

Isaiah 46:10 Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:
