Indeed he did!Paul predicted the arrival of evoutionists!!
Apologize for mine too, please?I apologize for the appalling display of scripture abuse being demonstrated in his posts.
Close!Sea world!
1 Timothy 4:4 Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.
Notice how Paul here equates [prescient] evolution with 'endless genealogies' and compares it to fables?
Notice here how Paul warns against using the elements in the periodic table, without giving due credit to the One Who made them?Bible abusers ignore the Apostle Paul's references to the emphasis on one's tribal roots and genealogies among Jewish Christians in the early church as well as the mythologies of early Gnosticism. No, they prefer to anachronistically impose their hostility towards EVOLUTION into a first century letter written by the Apostle to a young preacher named Timothy.
The mockers in our midst consider this abuse of the Bible as a casual pastime, a grab-bag source for proof-texting as part of their personal agenda of condemning scientific theories they don't like.
As a Bible-affirming Christ-follower, the petty abuse of the Bible in this manner has my utter and absolute contempt. If you wish to rant against evolution, do your thing. But don't blaspheme the Biblical text by pretending that the Apostle Paul was writing to Timothy to warn him about the theory of evolution. (Even the worst of most of the major "creation science" ministry leaders would not stoop to pretending that the genealogies and myths which the Apostle Paul was describing in the first century were about evolution. You have reached a new low of contemptuous behavior that dishonors the Gospel and the Bible.)

Colossians 2:9 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.
You can interpret "rudiments" of the world as the elements of the periodic table, but it's quite a stretch.
I'm just giving Mr Sincere some more things to rant & rave about. You can interpret "rudiments" of the world as the elements of the periodic table, but it's quite a stretch.
Who is Dr. Francis Collins, you may ask? He RAN the NIH funded Human Genome Project, and he also a devout christian.
That doesn't exactly make him a Biblical scholar, does it?
LOL ... I read this right after I clicked SUBMIT REPLY.The only reason that AV got confused about the meaning (and got the reference wrong) was because he's forever stuck in the KJV Bible. Any of the better translations would have spared him the embarrassment of misunderstanding the "elemental spiritual forces".

He can go ahead and use the Internet, spoken of in the oldest book of the Bible ...
Job 38:35 Canst thou send lightnings, that they may go, and say unto thee, Here we are?
... to arc and spark about how we interpret the Bible; but in this Christian nation, that's as far as he can go without breaking the law.
People like him are a dime a dozen, and I hear their voices every time I read a footnote or marginal note or center-column note in my Bible that says, "Better manuscript says this," or "Oldest manuscript says that."
And I thank God I'm a KJVO.
Does it ever bother you guys that I correct you guys more than you correct me?Does it ever bother you that you never take the route that requires engaging your brain?

The only problem is VS doesn't say, "Older versions say...." He only says that your sect doesn't have the right interpretations; the original text doesn't say that. Notice, he never takes the time to make up what he wants us to think the original text actually says. It would probably be too easy for us to cross check. Instead he tosses out things like that Genesis actually supports evolution, and when pressed repeatedly for proof he simply refuses.People like him are a dime a dozen, and I hear their voices every time I read a footnote or marginal note or center-column note in my Bible that says, "Better manuscript says this," or "Oldest manuscript says that."

That's why I have him on ignore. I can get unsupported arguments from my two year old grandson.
