  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good day, and welcome to a special interview with perhaps one of the most knowledgeable men of science alive today. Since time is short, let's get right into it then shall we?

Interviewer: So, is it true that 95% OF THE UNIVERSE IS UNKNOWN AND DARK STUFF TO YOU?

Scientist: Yes.

Interviewer: OK, so what is space, do you know?

Scientist: No

Interviewer: How about time?

Scientist: No

Interviewer: I see. I understand you claim that life started from a first lifeform, can you tell us a bit about that?

Scientist: No. We do not know what it was or where it came from.

Interviewer: Very well. So is it true that the famous rings around supernova 1987a were not known about before we saw them?

Scientist: Yes. We had no idea.

Interviewer: Interesting. So was it the right sort of star that 'exploded' in that event?

Scientist:
No. We had to do computer models to come up with the star that it must have been that exploded.

Interviewer: Alrighty then.

How about that natural nuclear reactor in Africa, is it accurate and true that the whole site was taken deep under the earth, many accounts suggest miles deep?

Scientist: Yes. Certainly.

Interviewer: Is there direct evidence for this?

Scientist: No. It just had to be what happened...and we do know that some areas do get uplited and submerged.

Interviewer: I see...but nothing specific as to THIS area?

Scientist: No.

Interviewer: Well, thank you for your time, that's all the time we have for today. We hope that in the future we can chat again.

Scientist: You're welcome. Hope you were impressed.

Good day, and welcome to a special interview with perhaps one of the most knowledgeable creationists alive today. Since time is short, let's get right into it then shall we?

Interviewer: So, is it true that 100% OF THE UNIVERSE IS UNKNOWN TO YOU?

Creationist: Yes.

Interviewer: OK, so what is space, do you know?

Creationist: No

Interviewer: How about time?

Creationist: No

Interviewer: I see. I understand you claim that life started from a first lifeform, can you tell us a bit about that?

Creationist: The first lifeform was made from nothing. And the first Man was made from mud.

Interviewer: Very well. So is it true that the famous rings around supernova 1987a were not known about before we saw them?

Creationist: I have no idea.

Interviewer: Interesting. So was it the right sort of star that 'exploded' in that event?

Creationist: How would I know? The bible has nothing to say on the matter.

Interviewer: Alrighty then.

How about that global flood, is it accurate and true that the whole earth was covered in water, many accounts suggest miles deep?

Creationist: Yes.

Interviewer: Is there direct evidence for this event?

Creationist: No. It just had to be what happened...I have a book that says it happened.

Interviewer: I see...but nothing specific as to THIS area?

Creationist: No.

Interviewer: Well, thank you for your time, that's all the time we have for today. We hope that in the future we can chat again.

Creationist: You're welcome. Hope you were impressed.

Interviewer: So, is it true that 95% OF THE UNIVERSE IS UNKNOWN AND DARK STUFF TO YOU?

Scientist: Yes ... but that's the fault of the common people, who won't get excited enough to fund research in this area.

Interviewer: OK, so what is space, do you know?

Scientist: No ... but again, the public needs to get excited about this, so we can tax them for funds.

Interviewer: How about time?

Scientist: No ... but if we can rig a vote, we can get you a definition.

Interviewer: I see. I understand you claim that life started from a first lifeform, can you tell us a bit about that?

Scientist: No. We do not know what it was or where it came from. The common people are myopic and don't understand that it doesn't matter; so they make it look like we don't care. Which we don't, because it doesn't matter. We just tell them it came from somewhere in the ocean, and that should be good enough. If they press us for details, then we'll say it came from cyanobacteria or protein or something else that sounds sciency.

Interviewer: Very well. So is it true that the famous rings around supernova 1987a were not known about before we saw them?

Scientist: Yes. We had no idea. Not our fault though. We beg and beg for better telescopes and instruments, but can't get enough backing from big corporations to build one. They're more interested in giving the public cigarettes and alcohol, than giving us quality tools.

Interviewer: Interesting. So was it the right sort of star that 'exploded' in that event?

Scientist:
No. We had to do computer models to come up with the star that it must have been that exploded.

Interviewer: Alrighty then.

Interviewer: Well, thank you for your time, that's all the time we have for today. We hope that in the future we can chat again.

Scientist: You're welcome. Hope you were impressed enough to let the public know that we can't do anything without the proper funding; and we're not going to get the proper funding until we convince Congress to start deducting more from the average Joe's payroll.

In fact, we have a cute saying for this:

You tax his behind, and we'll blow his mind! ^_^

Good day, and welcome to a special interview with perhaps one of the most knowledgeable men of faith alive today. Since time is short, let's get right into it then shall we?

Interviewer: So, is it true that 95% OF THE UNIVERSE IS UNKNOWN AND DARK STUFF TO YOU?

Creationist #1: Yes.

Creationist #2 No.

Interviewer: OK, so what is space, do you know?

Creationist #1: Yes.

Creationist #2 No.

Interviewer: How about time?

Creationist #1: Yes.

Creationist #2 No.

Interviewer: I see. I understand you claim that life started from a first lifeform, can you tell us a bit about that?

Creationist #1: Sure. The first life was Adam made from dirt. He had a belly button because he was mature. This was 6,100 years ago.

Creationist #2 Sure. The first life was created by my God. He made Adam, but he didn't have a belly button because that would be deceptive and my God don't play that. He did this 6 long time frames ago, because to God a day is to a single year.

.

Interviewer: Very well. So is it true that the famous rings around supernova 1987a were not known about before we saw them?

Creationist #1: Huh???

Creationist #2 What???

Interviewer: Interesting. So was it the right sort of star that 'exploded' in that event?

Creationist #1: No. Stars don't explode, my god made them eternal.

Creationist #2 Yes, that doesn't conflict with my "boolean standards."

.
Interviewer: Alrighty then.

How about that natural nuclear reactor in Africa, is it accurate and true that the whole site was taken deep under the earth, many accounts suggest miles deep?

Creationist #1: Huh???

Creationist #2 What????

Interviewer: Is there direct evidence for this?

Creationist #1: I have no idea what you are talking about.

Creationist #2 Goddidit.

.

Interviewer: I see...but nothing specific as to THIS area?

Creationist #1: Yes.

Creationist #2 No.

Interviewer: Well, thank you for your time, that's all the time we have for today. We hope that in the future we can chat again.

Creationist #1: Thank you, any time!

Creationist #2 I will pray for you. :prayer:

Ah, don't you love just more fabrications. At this rate, AV and Dad should go into fiction writing, you'll make a killing.

Actually, AV's one is about him self. Those characteristics of the "people" are his own. Interesting, I shall become an amateur psychologist.

Glad you popped by for a question also. Apparently you study the sun is that right? If you are familiar with the science of that study tell us how the sun will go dark one day as the bible says? Or would you recommend waving away what you can't understand?

In this thread the actual claims of science are looked at. You may comment on any of them touched on in the OP. If you want your own thread for creation positions, get it done in the appropriate place not in this thread.

You are not fooling anyone dad. This is nothing but a silly thread intended to make fun of scientists, because you don't like what they conclude. Tit for tat. :p

I don't study that aspect of the Sun. However, I can tell you the Sun won't go dark even after it becomes a white dwarf. It becomes dimmer.

Several points were raised. You cannot address them and refute them. Evos must wear it.

Prophesy.

In reality probably in several years it is O.U.T. If not several, then sometime fairly soon. The time is not known, buut we are talking soon compared to billions of years!

In reality you know not.

I guess when you live in a fantasy world you have to invent interviews as well.

Notice you did not say...'most of the universe IS known actually....or we did know about the rings in advance...etc etc'!!!!! Ever think you would actually be so defeated?
