I haven't been around much on Christian forums in the last 2 or 3 years and have noticed a big difference with the attitudes and positions of those posting. It is, frankly, hard to tell the Restoration group from the non-denominational group. It used to be that this was a forum mainly for church of Christ, disciples of Christ and Christian churches people, but now it seems almost everybody BUT the aforementioned people post here. This is seen in the number of people openly doubting the Bible's authenticity or authority. So my question is: are the still any people here who are from the church of Christ, disciples of Christ or Christian Churches?

Latter day saints? Mormon? Freemason? I am confused man...

Hey welcome back!

I am new here too. Although I was on here way back in high school days, yor. You are right things have changed a bit. I think it must have to do with the tensions in America-Iraq. It is weird what I am reading in the news. Follow it like a hawk. Media and everything is taking a dive for the worst. Got to be strong in Jesus name.

Yeah, cool silver sufer awesome, Jesus is returning soon. That is the way.

Me I am a member of the Church of I am the church, and where I walk I claim the Kingdom for Jesus everything, although I respect people's physical ownership, but spiritually everything is His, all demons and aliens must submit to Jesus' authority, I go to the church every 1 second of every day inside of the Holy Spirit, because I believe as Jesus said, the Father is in Him and He in the Father, and we in Him, so I am like diggin a total continuous Church connection with Him. And like He did say that one day we do not have to go to Church and he would permanently give us the Holy Spirit. Yeah.... something like that. That is my Church lol. Some of my peoples look at me funny when I say that, but I know they know I am on a good point.

Cool Jesus bless man

I grew up in one of the RM's more dangerous offshoots - I'm sure if you followed the news about 10 years ago you know which one I'm talking about. I have a lot of thoughts on RM theology but I don't post because I would prefer to discuss with current members, of which there seem to be basically none here.

I am a part of the Cofc group, but I come and go on this forum. I would say my beliefs are a mixture of apostolic (think Apostolic Assembly of Jesus Christ) and Church of Christ teachings now. Both believe baptism is a part of the path to salvation. I still won't attend a worship with instruments, but I do wear a head covering for prayer and teaching purposes. I don't know why there's a lot of denom on here. Maybe they think that non-denom means "going back to the Bible" when actually it's not? I don't know. I do know that I would not call Life Church, Victory Church, Journey, or any number of those "megachurches" to be a part any kind of second wave of the RM movement.

I am currently attending a baptist church because there are no RM churches in the area where I live. There are a few non-instrumental RM churches and I wouldn't have a problem attending them except my wife doesn't feel comfortable worshiping God without musical intruments. So, I post mostly in the Baptist forums because this forum is actually not used all that much.

This is the first time I've visited here, and I respect each group's right to have a forum for itself. But since I read about how there aren't any Campbellites (forgive that word, but I use it only to be clear who I'm referring to) here anymore, I'd like to comment on that much.

I think I know one reason why. It's because the forum is entitled "Restoration Movement." Anyone can see from reading through just a few posts that the R word means all kinds of different things to different people. Try changing the name to something that can't be mistaken.

The same problem has occurred with several other forums, and they wound up feeling that they had no choice but to tighten up the title if they were ever going to have the forum be seen for what it was meant to be.

I don't come here much since there isn't a whole lot of discussion going on and I don't understand a lot of the discussion that does happen here.
