He said so. If you have real insight into his inner motives, let's hear them.

Everything everyone says when they think the cameras aren't running gets better if we allow them to go back selectively edit and rephrase them.

I'm sure his whole spiel about how it would have been easier for him to run for president if he were a minority was all a big misunderstanding also.

Romney said "It's not my job to worry about those people," he is talking about 47% of Americans

It's 47% of the voters equilvalent to about 61 million people out of over 312 million. All he said was: while his current job of campaigning for votes before he becomes president, he can't expect those 61 million to vote for him. So he can't be concerned about trying to change their minds, they are stuck in the muck and will vote for Obama. His job therefore is to go after other voters that he can get. Let's face it, the 50 million people on food stamps, many of which are irresponsible, lazy and not contributing when they are able to, won't vote for him. That's all.
I'll tell you what, if he gets elected, he will give them a nice loving kick in the butt to start being productive citizens. I had a blind teacher in college --one of the best. Parapalegics work and people work as well -- if they can, so can everyone else. No more free hand-outs for the sluggards, only for those unable and/or in extreme need --we can't sustain a massive welfare system. Wellfare is the worst system towards creating a productive society with dignity. It is not the government's responsibility to support people who don't want to work, there responsibility is to protect us and our personal property. Our personal responsibility is to care for the poor and give to the poor. The church does that well. If we all took care of our own, then we wouldn't need a welfare system! 70% of inner city kids are fatherless! Deadbeat dads destroy the family and society.

"Bitter clingers" i believe Obama meant and i agree with.

"You didn't build that" was taken out of context, as you well know.

1) I'm sure you do.
2) No, it wasn't. I'm not going to derail the thread over it, however.

Some people are so desperate to find some dirt on Romney that their common sense takes a back seat. He was talking to fund-raisers - saying that 47 % is on entitlements so he can't worry about them (being able to give $$$) - A man who has spent his life helping people and has to be labeled with not caring - that's life, isn't it.

Are 47% of Americans on welfare or food stamps? No, even the 47% that don't pay Federal taxes still pay payroll, sales, and property taxes. They are still American citizens. If he was smart, he would be trying to figure out how to make his policies relevant to everybody and not just the top half is the point.

We don't need any further proof than the policies he has opened up and how he leans to the Muslims on every opportunity. He has made friends of our enemies and enemies of our friends because of the Muslims.
I have not yet seen any proof that Obama leans to Muslims. The only enemies of Obama I have seen are the republicans who have been out to destroy Obama since day 1.

No, I actually stole the phrase from Bill Clinton.
If you do not believe there is a vast right wing conspiracy, then why did you post the comment? I do not believe in a vast right wing conspiracy because it is common knowledge that the republicans are out to destroy Obama.

Is it your contention that republicans are not out to destroy Obama?

Obama seems to be doing that just fine on his own.

Obama does not need the help of the Republicans to destroy himself and his administration - he is doing a very good job all by himself.

That is the whole point, isn't it? The republicans have refused to help Obama and the country, and the goal is to destroy the Obama administration.

He is on his own without the help of any republicans, by republican design.

He does not want help from the Republicans - he goes around them in every area he can because he knows he can't get his corruption passed with them.
