This is good and shows the difference between faith in the Lord and faith in the written code ...the only thing is, everwhere Paul stressed abrahamic usage, it was pre circumcision, for us today. rom 4.
You ask others when you already know the answers ?No, I'm sure. I was just asking others.
You ask others when you already know the answers ?
Luke 2:46 And it came to pass, that after three days they found him in the temple, sitting in the midst of the doctors, both hearing them, and asking them questions.
You beat me to it!
No - not quite . Being deceptive is not something I would say that Jesus did . Yet , it *is* something that is done routinely in these forums and in other christian circles . Context is important to show if one is asking for information that they do not know and asking to see if anyone else knows besides themselves .Did not Jesus do the same?

We should never throw out the rules, weathered, my beautiful brother in Christ. We should always thank God for His mercy, and His righteousness, and call OURSELVES the sinners that we are.
On the topic of marriage, I will tell you what I eventually learned: marriage is NOT a slip of paper, it is NOT a legal document. Marriage is a covenant before God, and one to be considered with the utmost seriousness. It is also a very hard undertaking for someone such as yourself and me, because when we bind ourselves to a sinful situation, it truly feels right in our fallible hearts! Why, God, I asked, can't I just keep things the way they are?! This is comfortable and I am happy this way!
And then I grew, and got closer to God, and my eyes were opened. We hurt ourselves when we don't do it God's way, but the hurt feels so good, we convince ourselves God is okay with it.
When we finally give our lives over completely, letting go of our comfortable sins, we open ourselves up to a peace and comfort that is so much more than worldly things could ever offer!
God is WORTHY TO BE PRAISED! And His LOVE ENDURES FOREVER! YESSSS!

1Co 7:15 But if the unbelieving depart, let him depart. A brother or a sister is not under bondage in such cases: but God hath called us to peace.

I am not sure what the relevance is of this? We are not speaking of anyone who is married to an unbeliever.
So now I am a deceiver because you say so? I suppose if I desired to please men then I might be offended.

But i wonder, should i worry about those rules? Its not about rules is it?
