how is it that you can be mad at God for being evil,

if He doesnt' exist?

OH...I have no doubt of the existence of my Beloved God, mainly because I see God's presence everywhere I look. But it clearly looks to me like the Old Testament God as we read in the Bible has some very serious dysfunctional issues going on. I have no problem seeing why images of that God might turn some into Atheist. And those images, as we see all of the time are used as arguments to uphold an Atheist position for non-belief in God. Heck...this lover of God uses those Old Testament images of God for why I'm NOT a Christian and went elsewhere.

Wait, The London Olympics is going to feature the apocalypse?

That'll be one hell of a closing ceremony.... How did the Olympic Committee arrange that? That's marketing genius, I'll definitely have to tune in to watch!


p.s. If the end times prophecy is not fulfilled during the London Olympics, will you be willing to publicly state on here that you were wrong?

He pointed out the logical contradiction of an infinitely loving being who slaughters people by the millions.

It's not at all OK to do those things. Where did that come from? Or perhaps, are you agreeing that the Christian image of God is of a God that's done some pretty bad things?

It all depends on what "shortly after" means, anyway.
And what precisely one would consider evicence that end times prophesy is beginning to unfold.
"Be unprecise!" isn´t rule #1 in the handbook of prophets for nothing.

No, there is a problem... A major one at that. He's guilty of Genocide if he orders or causes the death of millions.

That's what genocide is, a conscious effort to wipe out a particular group of people.

Yeah, pretty much. If God is infinitely loving, God loves the terrorist too.

Going on from there, based on your take of Christian mythology it depends on what will happen to that terrorist after they die.

The point is genocide is an act inconsistent with love, regardless of who commits it.
