I have been noticing 11:11 & 1:11 a TON the past few months, and this last week it happened every day. Is there anyone who knows what this means if anything (Please NO SARCASTIC replies)

iv gotten similar. dnt kno if any meaning, but a wonder 4sur. my thnking is if it leads u closer to God, must be of God. if it leads u astray-the devil.

Some cult groups use the number, and since Mayan beliefs have been in the forefront lately you will also see 11:11 referring to Dec 2012 (Mayan Calendar numbers). So there are some conscious, intentional numbers placed out there for marketing and persuasion.
It's similar to past sightings of 666 on band tee shirts -- people who know the number means something but might not necessarily believe in it, will use it to provoke or convey a message. That won't account for the times you noticed it on clocks or random things, but might make you feel like it's showing up everywhere.

It happens to me quite a bit, to the point that whenever I look at a clock I am seeing either 1:11 or 3:33 or something like this. I have generally taken them as signs, and God has instructed me this way. He used 3:33 to teach me about the trinity before I became a Christian, believe it or not. These days I take them as confirmation that I am on the right track.
I would not go so far as to say all such signs are necessarily from God. I have been led astray by false signs in the past, before I became a Christian. So I would be careful as to what you attribute to them. If you feel God is giving you a sign, ask Him for further confirmation in prayer. Search the scriptures as well.

why then does the bible spk of the anti christ as 666, if numbrs r meaningless?
i dnt seek it, it jst happens whn not expected. whn lookd 4, i dnt find. "numbrs point to mor numbrs."-cant that notion of eternal life? why does it happen the way it does? i said in JESUS name, any spirits not of God BE GONE!! but it still happend. i say this then to b sure. may it never happen to i or anyone agin if its not from the true living God-the Father Son & Holy spirit. the Lord Jesus Christ. amen!

When I was done with my prayer after reading Revelation, the clock read 1:11. I always take these as signs that I am on the right track. What they usually affirm to me is Gods complete control of reality and perfect timing.

I have notice this as well, I always seem to look at the clock at work right at 1:11pm, and earlier today I had to replace the batteries in my bathroom wall clock which had stopped at 11:11. I've seen it other places too, but hadn't really thought much of it until I saw this thread. Do you think it is some sort of omen or simply a coincidence?

Interesting that this thread has come up. For awhile, I didn't see these numbers (saw them alot on clocks in 2011), but just this week I've started seeing the time 11:11, 1:11 and even 9:11, too. I wouldn't even mention, except it has been an unusual amount of times. I've noticed that when I do see these numbers, its right after I've ended one task/duty/conversation, etc. and about to move on to the next thing. Like, ending a phone conversation while driving -- getting ready to maybe listen to some music -- and there it is, 11:11. Like a PAUSE. Wonder what's up?

God is trying to teach us in these days. this world is obviousy getting wors. i believ that numbrs thing is an ATTENTION getter. did it not get u to stop & wonder & ? --thers so many distractions & lies that can lead us astray. make sur ur SOWING to the HOLY SPIRIT, NOT THE FLESH-to the Word(truth) and not deception. set ur heart & mind on things above- the things of GOD. I was haunted by 11:11 for years until I was born again then I didnt care about it anymore and it went away.
But I would see it in more places then just the clock.
My car fuse blew out when the mileage was 110110 and the mileage stayed at that for a long time until I changed the fuse. And one day when I was about to steal stuff from the store I passed an atm machine and seen a receipt sticking out and looked at it out of curiosity and the balance was $1111, so I took it as a warning and put the stuff back lol.
But anyways, it all started one day when a girl I was talking too said she was haunted by the number, then after that I too started seeing it all over the place.
I still see it once in a while but I dont care because I have the Lord.
But I would see it in more places then just the clock.
