OK I am new here and need help with my life I am haveing problems I was raised in a Christian home but found it hard to completely believe on God I believe but have doubts as well so I asked God into my life and tried to find God so to speak but I have issuies I find that I believe in the devil and I guess I've always felt kind of evil or negative I like hard rock music I try to be a Christian but no matter how hard I try my interest is always there Ans I don't want it to be I'm scared of Satan but I have looked into Satanism and strait up devil worshipping I don't want to do it but I keep going back to it I feel good when I go back to it help

Forget the satanism; that is a path leading to a dead end, and will get you absolutely nowhere.

If you have asked God into your life, you now need to do something about that, and find yourself a church. Any Christian church will do, by which I mean any mainstream; Baptist, Episcopalian, Methodist, Roman; you get the idea. Not Mormon, Unitarian or JW.

When you have found a church, then you need to book an appointment to talk to the minister about your 'interests', and ask his or her help with overcoming them. You may not be able to do this on your own, but with a church behind you I think it will be easier. And don't worry about having doubts; we all doubt from time to time, which is why we need to have a church around us to support us when we do.

At present you may be attracted by the mystery or whatever of satanism. It is a mystery going nowhere, ultimately sterile and devoid of life. Life is to be found in Christ and in his church, so I strongly advise you to choose that path instead.

good advice. The enemy is making it look very good to you, but don't be deceived.

You are dealing with your life for eternity. Don't even let those thoughts go past your mind, cast them aside. While you are trying to find a church you can read your Bible and search for the truth. The Bible tells us that Jesus is your friend, he walks closer than your shadow and is only a heartbeat away. You can talk to Jesus, pray, sing, just know He is always with you.

The devil has nothing to offer you but death and everything he does or puts in your mind will be leading you in that direction.

Just know that God knows your heart and is waiting with open arms for you to turn to Him for guidance.

I empathize with that statement whole heartedly. This is a problem everyone deals with. Our thorn in the flesh. Some have a little thorn and some of us have whole trees sticking into open festering wounds. You might find it beneficial to pray for the mercy of Christ. The Jesus Prayer is powerful. "Jesus Christ Son of God have mercy on me a sinner." The demons hate the sign of the cross as well. You might want to look for a Church and find a more advanced spiritual combatant who can be a trainer and father for you like Paul was to those under his care. Then you can be fortified by the liturgy and sacraments of Christ. It's not easy waging the battle all by ourselves.

The devil will always make sure there is someone there for you to talk to. You don't have to be in church on bended knee with Bible in hand to talk to God. You can talk, which in a way is praying also, just talk normal to Him. He will always be there for you.

I honestly doubt how sincere you are. Any Pastor that deserves his title would be willing to talk with you about your problems. If you have really talked to Christians and a Pastor and been "blown off", I strongly urge you to find a different church! I would look online and find a local church that has a Christian counseling ministry as well.

If your life is so full and you have no time for church, how is it that you find time to look so deeply into Satanism? There are demons, but they only care to destroy people, not bring them into relationship with God... and that is definitely what you need.

You need to read the bible and remember that God made the devil. It is God that you need to be worshiping. Read the bible, read the entire new testament and read it fast. Don't get hung up on this and that, of course if something jumps out and says "Hello Jared, this is God speaking" then stop and pray about it, but read the bible and get all that information into your mind, then you will have the sword of the spirit to fight against the demons. Do not be afraid of them because Jesus has defeated them and you only need to ask Him to be your Lord and then He will rebuke them. I do believe that the demons can help us learn but only when they are acting in accord with Jesus' kingship - you have to make that decision. Who do you want as your lord - Satan who will eventually be condemned for eternity, or Jesus who is enthroned in righteousness for eternity? You need to make an informed decision, so read everything that Jesus stands for by reading the new testament and then come back to discuss the things that you have learned. Sloth is a sin, you can't be lazy if you want to belong to God. You have to use the time He has given you (up to 120 years, that is biblical), to make use of your brain because that is your calculator/computer. When you die you will not have the brain to calculate with, so make good use of it now that you have the chance because there is no escaping death. I like heavy music as well. I also love Jesus. Satan isn't worth your time. Just leave him behind, and pursue God by praying to him. Have you had problems attempting that?

Dear jared185. You are no stranger to Christianity, but you cannot quite make up your mind: what shall I do? Do you know the meaning of love, kindness, helping someone in need? Why don`t you try and find out for yourself? You have let Satan know that you are not quite anti-Satan, therefore get rid of all Satanic thoughts, and openly show love for your fellow-beings. That is the best way to get rid of Satan,he cannot bear to be near anything to do with love.
Then let love and care for your neighbour, ( all you know and all you meet) take over your thinking and acting. God will notice and God will approve and bless you. Let this become your second nature, jared, and enjoy the feeling it gives you. You will find that Jesus becomes your companion, your shadow. Then you are well on the way: The Bible tells us in Matthew, chapter 22, verses 34-40, what Jesus answers a Lawyer about loving God, and loving our neighbour. 1) Love God with all our hearts, with all our souls, and with all our minds. 2) Love our neighbour as we love ourselves. Jesus points out a great truth: " On these two Commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets." God wants our Love for Himself and for our neighbour, freely given and no conditions tagged on.
Jesus will give us His Love and Joy, and the Holy Spirit will give us His Love and Joy, also. Jesus told us to: " ask and ye will receive," then we thank God, and share all Love and Joy with all around us. God can see our loving efforts, and God will know that we love Him. HOW? We are following God`s Commandments to love, and care.
