  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

If God loves us, why does he send us to hell?

No. My point is that God can indeed burn humans forever without your permission.
He doesn't need my permission, but according to Jesus Christ, they are burnt up, consumed by the fire, not tortured forever in it.

I'll agree with Jesus Christ instead of you.

Eternal Torture has already been disproven.
Somebody forgot to tell John.

Revelation 14:9-11 (NASB)
9 Then another angel, a third one, followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is mixed in full strength in the cup of His anger; and he will be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 "And the smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever; they have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name."

Sounds great in my opinion, but i don't know if it's biblical!! Need some help here.
We're totally deprived in making the right choices so that means God didn't rely on our choices since it wouldn't be good choices. The elects that God drew are the ones that God loved.

We don't choose God. God chooses us.

No, John got the memo:
And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life.

Your refusal to look at the whole Bible in context is pretty sad.

So according to you, John should have said:
And this is the testimony, that God gave EVERYONE eternal life, EVERYONE has ETERNAL life WHETHER THEY HAVE THE SON OR NOT, whoever does not have the Son of God STILL HAS ETERNAL life, BUT IS TORTURED IN HELL FOREVER.

Exactly, and the result of this wrath is not seeing life. The result is death.

I'm not the one denying the doctrine of hell. Anyone who can read the whole Bible and say there isn't a hell wasn't paying attention.

I came came out of the indoctrination of hell. Now I can see that there is no eternal torture. Anyone who says that the lost receive eternal life is not paying attention.

If there is a verse that you want to share that says, "When a sinner dies they go to hell to live forever being tortured", Please share it.

I'll tell you right now, there is no such verse in the bible. Perhaps you were daydreaming when you thought you saw this verse. I pay close attention when I read the bible. It prevents me from seeing things THAT ARE NOT THERE.

Here are some pro no torture verses:

Malachi 4:1“For behold, the day is coming, burning like a furnace; and all the arrogant and every evildoer will be chaff; and the day that is coming will set them ablaze,” says the LORD of hosts, “so that it will leave them neither root nor branch.”

Matt. 10:28 "Do not fear those who kill the body but are unable to kill the soul; but rather fear Him who is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
