  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Who said trees couldn't sing?

this is so cool! the first thing that came to my mind were some passages from The Bible. here are a few.

"Tremble before him, all the earth!
The world is firmly established; it cannot be moved.
31 Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad;
let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!”
32 Let the sea resound, and all that is in it;
let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them!
33 Let the trees of the forest sing,
let them sing for joy before the LORD,

for he comes to judge the earth. " 1 Chron. 16:30-33

"Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice." Psalms 96:12

This is amazing.

Folks, remember to thank a local Tree. :muahah:

Bwahaha, I know, right? Next time I go walkin', I'm gonna be like "I wonder what this tree would sing...?" :D

WHAT HAVE I BEEN TELLING YOU ALL THESE YEARS!!!! :D :D :D
Wouldn't call it "amazing" since the tree isn't making any actual music, it's just the computer's interpretation of the rings on the wood. It's cool, though.
Oh, pish.

All of creation will sing someday :p
Yes, the trees, rivers and hills one day will lend their voices in singing the hymn of all creation. :)
