  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

What are you working on now?

Right now I am working on paper dolls. I need to cut out my Cinderella and Prince charming dolls and clue them on thin cardboard then cut out the figures once they dry, then draw and cut out costumes for them. I also need to work on costumes for my Snow White and holiday paper dolls. Then I would like to make a collage paper doll out of construction paper with costumes of gift wrap and tissue paper.

lately i've been restoring a bunch of old guitars....

That's so cool, I've always wanted to have a go at that! Acoustic or electric?

:)

I've just finished sewing myself a dress and just ordered the fabric for my next design. I like to make 1940s/50s style dresses and clothes and customise clothes too.

Lots of prem' baby clothes. These are handed out in gift boxes whenever anyone asks the church for prayer or help if they have a baby who needs NNICU.
This brought a tear to my eyes!
My son was a 12 week preemie back in 1981, and I still have his 2 outfits made by an 'angel' like YOU
The booties were so big for him they fit like knee socks ;) (he was so tiny) .
You will never know the true blessing you are to a frightened and concerned parent of a preemie who must leave their precious baby in a NICU.
Your gift brings such warmth and love....even to the parents.
May God bless you and your ministry :crossrc:

I love seeing handmade cards. If I don't have the most money what I do is buy pretty cards with blank insides then use glitter or scrapbook supplies and do the insides. :)
Great idea
Her room is FULL of containers with the tiniest of embellishments
I have no idea how she keeps track of her inventory....or even where she gets her ideas.
You girls must just have that free creative spirit
