CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS - I really love Dr. Piper's statement that God is the most glorified in us when we are the most satisfied in Him. It just came to my mind and as we all know being satisfied in God is a battle.

Hahaha, as we said when I was in high school (went to school in Indiana, only 10 minutes away)... "Ya never know with Indiana weather!" We've gone to the zoo in MAY and it's snowed!

I did five conferences today while feeling like I was going to fall apart. I'm so proud of myself. Also, parents tell me too much info about their lives. I mean I like that they share, but oh my....

I have advice for you all, and I think I should definitely be heard on this one. So listen up!
Rule #1: NEVER put on lipgloss/lip balm and then go outside in cold winter temperatures. If there is a wind, or the lipjunk has methol in it....
Because your lips crystals aren't fun. trust me! Now don't take offense, I am no skinny minnie so I say this with love...and concern due to it's existence.
Rule #2: Leopard print one piece plus size jumpsuit. <-- Ban this from the earth. And if you find it. Don't pick it up, or wear it. For that matter, if the girl in the next change room goes in with one, stop her!
... actually I guess I shouldn't discriminate. Rule #2 could apply to guys as well although I haven't seen it. But if one should exist in mens clothing as well *just shakes head and cries at the idea*
