I suppose it worked something like this:
Say you have a lake that's been there for 1000 years.
There's an earthquake, and the lake breaks out and floods the area.
The area then freezes.
Later, someone coming along might find a 6-month old insect embedded in 1000 year-old water.
Same with rocks.
Some can form so quickly, you can watch them form at home.
What if we had some way of seeing how long the water has been frozen?
dont know much about rocks but i have a pet rock that i have been talking to, watering and feeding since the 70's hoping it will involve into something. i know it's just a matter of time but i plan on passing it down for generations to come hoping it becomes something other than a rock one day.
nothing plus time and chance equals everything....right?
Wrong. Why do you creationists post ridiculous arguments like this which clearly show that you do not understand evolution and then think that you have made some damaging point. The only thing you are damaging is your own credibility.
Right now we are just hoping that He will breath some life into you.
Oh, insults! Haven't you got anything better to do?
