Hello all, I'm having a tough time understanding why Jesus had to die... and in such a brutal way too.

I always seems to come back to "well if God knew that that was going to happen when ____ (He created man, He made those laws, etc.), why didn't He just make it so it didn't have to happen?"

So I guess I have two questions then:

Why did Jesus have to die? (in such a brutal way???)
Why did God not do something differently that made it so that he wouldn't have to die?

Adam and Eve were created to commune with God and attain theosis (salvation). To go against what they were told by their Creator was a choice they had and did make- the consequence being that death entered the world.

Christ was prophesied to die on the cross because it was cursed due to the sin of Adam and Eve. Christ descended into hades and defeated death and sin. That was the entire purpose for Christ dying on the cross. This idea that He was both fully God and fully man gave people a way to be reconciled to God.

Interestingly, it is a pious opinion in Orthodoxy that even if Adam and Eve had not sinned, and death had not entered the world- that Christ still would have come in the flesh in order to help us attain theosis (salvation). "God became man, so that man can become like God." Plus, it wasn't too late for Adam and Eve- even then. In the icon of the Resurrection- Christ is depicted trampling the gates of Hades and lifting Adam and Eve from their graves. Christ destroyed death. (It is even mentioned in the New Testament how after the Resurrection- many of the righteous dead were resurrected and appeared to many people.) Like Adam, we are dead in our sins, but through Christ (the New Adam) we are brought to life (where we were once dead in our sins).

Anyway, the 'tree of life' is seen as a prefiguration of the Cross, which we couldn't partake of until after the resurrection of Christ, as evidenced in the hymnography of the Church:

Make ready, O Bethlehem, for Eden hath been opened for all. Prepare, O Ephratha, for the tree of life hath blossomed forth in the cave from the Virgin; for her womb did appear as a spiritual paradise in which is planted the divine Plant, whereof eating we shall live and not die as did Adam. Christ shall be born, raising the image that fell of old.

Prophecy of Isaiah 60:11-16:

Therefore your gates shall be open continually;
They shall not be shut day or night,
That men may bring to you the wealth of the Gentiles,
And their kings in procession.
For the nation and kingdom which will not serve you shall perish,
And those nations shall be utterly ruined.

"The glory of Lebanon shall come to you,
The cypress, the pine, and the box tree together,
To beautify the place of My sanctuary;
And I will make the place of My feet glorious.
Also the sons of those who afflicted you
Shall come bowing to you,
And all those who despised you shall fall prostrate at the soles of your feet;
And they shall call you The City of the LORD,
Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

"Whereas you have been forsaken and hated,
So that no one went through you,
I will make you an eternal excellence,
A joy of many generations.
You shall drink the milk of the Gentiles,
And milk the breast of kings;
You shall know that I, the LORD, am your Savior
And your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

I Corinthians 15: 54-58:
So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

From the Paschal Homily of St. John Chrysostom:

Let no one bewail his poverty,
For the universal Kingdom has been revealed.
Let no one weep for his iniquities,
For pardon has shown forth from the grave.
Let no one fear death,
For the Saviour's death has set us free.
He that was held prisoner of it has annihilated it.

By descending into Hell, He made Hell captive.
He embittered it when it tasted of His flesh.
And Isaiah, foretelling this, did cry:
Hell, said he, was embittered
When it encountered Thee in the lower regions.
It was embittered, for it was abolished.
It was embittered, for it was mocked.
It was embittered, for it was slain.
It was embittered, for it was overthrown.
It was embittered, for it was fettered in chains.
It took a body, and met God face to face.
It took earth, and encountered Heaven.
It took that which was seen, and fell upon the unseen.
O Death, where is thy sting?
O Hell, where is thy victory?

Christ is risen, and thou art overthrown!
Christ is risen, and the demons are fallen!
Christ is risen, and the angels rejoice!
Christ is risen, and life reigns!
Christ is risen, and not one dead remains in the grave.
For Christ, being risen from the dead,
Is become the first-fruits of those who have fallen asleep.
To Him be glory and dominion
Unto ages of ages.
Amen.

...Why did Jesus have to die?
Sin separates from God, that is death.

Sin isn't just certain bad things, it is falling short of God's nature.

The natural man (in "the flesh") cannot attain to the nature of God

"all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God" (Romans 3:23)

Jesus became the only perfect man to show that God requires perfection, which we could never supply ("the law of The Lord is perfect), to be a "lamb without spot", to take man's punishment for man's sin so that we could appropriate his righteousness through faith
... stop believing in our ability to please God (repentance),
bury the natural man (who is spiritually dead in sin) in baptism
and be resurrected to God's nature by receivuing His Spirit.

Jesus gave his Life, we need to receive it. (Galatians 3:13-14)
Calvary was to enable Pentecost (Acts 2:4, 33, 39)

Have you received what they all received?
(se also Acts 10:44-48, John 3:8)

(in such a brutal way???)
He took all our sin, the various tortures represent the things we go through.

Mental torment:
"if ye will not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you; then it shall come to pass, that those which ye let remain of them shall be pricks in your eyes, and thorns in your sides, and shall vex you in the land wherein ye dwell" (Num. 33:55)

Physical afflictions:
"Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may Israel now say ... The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows"
(Ps 128:1-3)

Spiritual separation from the Father:
"from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (Matt. 27:45-46)

"For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him" (2 Cor.5:21)

"Wherefore in all things it behoved him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people" (Heb:2:17)

Why did God not do something differently that made it so that he wouldn't have to die?

"The flesh" is the problem, we would still be "in the flesh" untell we reject it as spiritual deadness, we need a new Life, not a new leaf.

"That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

God shed blood with coats of skin in the garden to cover their shame. This was the first blood shed for sin. God chose to do this god does not change christ shed blood was god providing the final sacrifice for all sin. We cannot save our selves god has provided the lamb. The old testament points to this final sacrifice through out. Study the old testament it will give you powerfull knowledge about christ on the cross. This is very important to understand in your walk with god. If we would choose our children or ourselves to die most would choose themselves. God's love for us is uncomprehending to man kind. He cannot look upon sin through the cross he made the way for eternal salvation.

He had to die that way because of sin. When God created the world, it was free from sin. God however gave us the choice, for good or for evil. Unfortunately, humanity chose evil and therefore God Himself had to pay the price for it at the cross. Jesus had to die because human beings chose evil instead of good, and because we are flawed because of sin and unable to redeem ourselves. The brutality of it is a reflection of just how bad sin really is. It was brutal because human beings are evil; We did that to Him because of evil.

As far as why didn't God do something differently, He could have forced us to choose good. But then, that would make us robots. If God prevented us from sinning it means we would be forced to love Him. So He allowed for our evil for the sake of love. Not only that, but He loved us so much He was willing to sacrifice His own life for our sake. The work He did on the cross was about love, and the brutality of it brought glory to God. It's hard to understand if you only look at the physical suffering, but it has a spiritual dimension which is much greater. God bless.

Hello all, I'm having a tough time understanding why Jesus had to die... and in such a brutal way too.

As others have said, it has to do with choice. We don't know how it all works, but love is very important to God. There is no love without choice, and true choice has to have good and bad decisions. So while God could have made all people obey Him, it would have been more like puppets or robots with no capacity to love.

We don't know exactly why Jesus had to die the way He did, nor do we fully understand why the Jews of the Old Testament were instructed to sacrifice animals to atone for their sins. We are given clues though, and it relates to God's holiness and the balance of justice. Sins come at a cost. We should have paid that cost, but God showed us mercy through Jesus' willingness to take our sins upon Himself.

Think of a little child who carelessly breaks a glass figurine in a store. There is a cost... either the store owner can show mercy and absorb the cost, or a parent can come to the rescue and pay for it. We are like the careless child who doesn't fully grasp the destruction caused by our sin. God is giving us a way out. The most amazing thing is how many people don't even chose to accept it!

it correctly highlights some prophecies, though I would have drawn further attention to the one about being lifted up - so that all could "behold the man", the one who previously they had hailed as the Messiah!
I remember the line in Genesis 3 about bruising his heal, and in the word for "God" - YHVH - the letters mean "the hand, the nail".

The big disappointment is that it ends with the man-made prayer for salvation at the end and tells people they are now a child of God if they prayed it.

Jesus death was to enable the Spirit to be given (Galatians 3:13-14), as detailed in Acts 2, 10 etc.
Calvary was to enable Pentecost.

Jesus died because of us. He died FOR us. He claimed to be the son of God, and got put to death. He was a strong morale teacher and believed in doing the right thing. We are here today because he gave up his life for our sins. NObody is perfect, except Jesus Christ. All he has ever asked of us is to lay down our burdens and pray. And so we have. We call him our Father, our Savior for a reason. God could of stopped it, but ultimately he didnt. He is the only one in the world who knows the big picture and for now, we are just going to have to trust it. Trust in your faith, and never give in, ever.
"The name of the LORD is a strong tower;
the righteous run to it and are safe."

Death on the cross was not a defeat for Christ; it was a victory. He had atoned for the sins of mankind, and now his task was done, so he 'went home'.

It was also his purpose for being here, known to him well in advance:

I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me - just as the Father knows me and I know the Father - and I lay down my life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd. The reason my Father loves me is that I lay down my life - only to take it up again. No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father. (The Gospel of St. John 10:14-18,NIV)

Unless we see the Passion of Christ as 'a happening within a happening' we cannot truly comprehend what occurred. Insofar as the high priest and Pilate were concerned they had rid themselves of a meddlesome preacher who was attracting way too many followers in a country known for its insurrections. But in reality God had used their tactics in order to accomplish his ends.

Even Jesus' death showed that it was he, not those supposedly in authority, who had been in control of the situation the entire time:

Later, knowing that all was now completed, and so that the Scripture would be fulfilled, Jesus said, "I am thirsty." A jar of wine vinegar was there, so they soaked a sponge in it, put the sponge on a stalk of the hyssop plant, and lifted it to Jesus' lips. When he had received the drink, Jesus said, "It is finished." With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit. (The Gospel of St. John 19:28-30,NIV)

On the surface it would appear that he had succumbed to the pain and shock associated with being crucified. But then why did his death elicit this response from the centurion who witnessed it?

And when the centurion, who stood there in front of Jesus, heard his cry and saw how he died, he said, "Surely this man was the Son of God!" The Gospel of St. Mark 15:39,NIV)

The centurion realized that something was very wrong. It is accepted that Jesus' cross had a suppedaneum (a footrest) which his feet were nailed to. This would have conformed to the Romans' macabre nature, since because of it Jesus should have lived for days. This in turn would have presented an image to passersby of a man on the middle cross writhing in agony, while the bodies of the thieves on either side of him would have told the people what his ultimate fate was to be.

But not only was he dead after 6 hours, but he had actually spoken just prior to his death. In the case of asphyxia, nomally associated with crucifixions, the victim couldn't exhale as he neared death, so that did not kill Jesus. In the case of heart failure, as the heart became weaker the carotid arteries leading to the brain would dilate in the brain's last-ditch effort to maintain a survivable supply of oxygenated blood. This would have caused enough pressure on the larynx so that the person couldn't speak, so that's not how Jesus died. The centurion had seen victims die on the cross in these ways, so he was looking for those symptoms to appear. And instead, he saw a 'victim' say that his work was done, and then lay down his head and die as calmly as if he were taking a nap.

Even Pilate was surprised to hear that Jesus was already dead. In fact, he ordered that it be confirmed:

It was Preparation Day (that is, the day before the Sabbath). So as evening approached, Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent member of the Council, who was himself waiting for the kingdom of God, went boldly to Pilate and asked for Jesus' body. Pilate was surprised to hear that he was already dead. Summoning the centurion, he asked him if Jesus had already died. When he learned from the centurion that it was so, he gave the body to Joseph. (The Gospel of St. Mark 15:42-45,NIV)

The only person who had control of that situation was God himself, as well as Jesus Christ. What those in power saw as their victory became instead God's own victory over our sinfulness. Through Jesus' sacrifice, and only through his sacrifice, the chasm between our imperfection and God's requirement for perfection was bridged, so that we can have confidence in our salvation. Sin is offensive to God, so there had to be an accounting for it. But instead of our being held to account for our sinfulness, and thereby perishing, God took our accountablity on himself, and paid the price for our sinfulness through the only person who could overcome it, even to the point of overcoming death itself. And that person was his own Son Jesus Christ.

I think the issue you're asking might come down to something even deeper and more profound.

Do we think God was serious if God committed Himself any less to us?

I think that God constructed this creation in such a way as to show His redemptive nature to those He loves. And this level of redemption and love, making the mortal immortal, does take some very deep and very ... offensive actions on God's part.

I was blessed by the responses to your question; we sharpen each other when we fellowship: BIG SMILE:

I asked God this question; and YOU KNOW WHAT:
IT ALL MAKES SINCE when you hear and believe:

YOU STATED:
Why did Jesus have to die? (in such a brutal way???)

I dont think i can even imagine the brutality He endured:
Especially being that He WAS the Son of God; Being that He loves us so much; to even be willing to lie down His life; I dont think i will ever understand what JESUS really endured:
So I pray that God allows me to honor His sacrifice with a love that grows and grow:
BUT:
He had to suffer to show that God is just in setting us free: Someone had to pay that price for us:
And Jesus not only carries our sins; He bares our punishment in His Own body:
Jesus didnt just die brutally as we are saying:
He also neglected the basic pleasures of life; He new not company the way men seek love; He had no children; nor was His mind set on having children in the flesh; Jesus went hungry so much; and He died so young:
HE SUFFERED SO MUCH: FOR US:
BUT:
Why did He have to die?

I ask myself this:
God says:

Romans 6:23

King James Version (KJV)
23For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH:

This is a spiritual law of the flesh; This is a contract between God and death; saying if they sin; you have the right to take them; and KEEP THEM:
And we all;-sin through our natures; so GOD HAD TO SEND HIS SON IN THE FLESH:
So that Jesus could DIE WITHOUT sin:
Thus breaking the bond sin has over the flesh:
For if the wages of sin is death;
And if Jesus died without sin; then death is condemned in CHRIST: and it owes Him, and with His ransom He brought our souls from sin: ITS MOST HIGH BEAUTY AND LOVE

And thats why life is ONLY IN HIM
Because only He has the Power in Himself to set us free from sin:
God says death was allowed to rule up until Christ:

Romans 5:17

King James Version (KJV)
17For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Thus Jesus set us free from that death:
He gives us the power to live righteous and to please God; if we believe it; then we can live it through the relationship we have in Him through that belief:

BUT: If JESUS had no sin; and if death new that the wages of sin was death; why was death so easily tricked:
WELL Look what happened to JESUS:
He suffered like a sinner: Is death the wise;
and look how He died; On a tree:
This made Jesus a curse in the flesh;
He carried the curse; and sin is a curse;
So Jesus became sin or a curse in the flesh; and He did this for us:
Thus even though Jesus had no sin; He was made sin in the flesh; so that in His Spirit; sin can be condemned in those that live by the Spirit:
Thus He rose to life with a power that allows us to fight and overcome the sin in our lives;
He was made a curse; He suffered like a sinner under the law; so that we can be set free from the curse of the law; by being given the power to OBEY: Loving God as children; new creations in Christ Jesus; angels were made in the light; but we are allowed to welcome that life; and to recieve it; and to have a birth as Sons of God; we will be SO BLESSED: WE ARE SO BLESSED: cont..
God says:

Galatians 3:13

King James Version (KJV)
13Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree:

SO JESUS took on the curse of sin; to free us from sin:
He suffered so that we can also suffer by living for Him, denying the pleasures of sin; suffering for righteousness:

Dont want to get too winded without giving you a chance to respond:
But i will give you these two Scriptures for your other question:
I will put them in the reply: so that I don’t run out of space:
Cont…in reply

Continuation:
QOUTE
Why did God not do something differently that made it so that he wouldn't have to die?
END QOUTE

Lets look at the angels:
Lets see how they responded to being created:

First I must see that God says the lamb was slain before the foundation of the world:
Thus what Jesus did on the cross; Had already been done; ETERNALLY:

The work of Gods Word was already established before it happened in GOD:
The SON has always been the Word; and He has always held the righteousness of God in Himself: or the breath of God: Even our Word has breath in it: Gods breath is righteousness: And we cant speak without breath being in our word; as to Gods Son had to come and suffer for righteousness sakes: So we can LIVE as children and not slaves: Not saying angels are slaves; But the lessor creations are being made sons of the living God. MOST HIGH LOVE AND HUMILITY

When God spoke; everything He told the Word to do it was done:
Let there be light; There was light:
Even the breath that was blew into man came from within that word:
IN the first chapter of john:
God says in Him was life; and that life was the light of man:
So that same JESUS that came as the Word of God and God in the flesh being that JESUS was the Son and the FATHER was One with Him.
That same Word; gave us our breath in the beginning through Himself:
And so He had to return in the flesh to give breath to the flesh: Flesh had to fall away so that we can understand the grace of being made and created: Or else why would God do it; He already had angels; BUT in JESUS was see that God wants children; Thus God must be sososos GOOD: that its unjust for Him not even to share HIMSELF: SMILE I LOVE IT
cont..
SO - God blew breath into man and we became a living soul:
God says in the Word WAS LIFE AND THAT LIFE WAS THE LIGHT OF MAN:
John 1

Jesus also says: Father return me to the Glory I had with thee before the World was: AGAIN putting Jesus with the Father before the world was made:

John 17:5

King James Version (KJV)
5And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.

Thus THIS JESUS is the author of life; God created everything through JESUS:
EVERYTHING CAME OUT OF HIM: And everthing will be held in Him

And God wants all creation to honor that; Because its JUSTICE:
God cant be unjust to HIMSELF: and JESUS is ONE in the FATHER:
SO the Father wants ALL creation to realize that the word that we were made through is Gods Son:
The Word did everything God willed it to do:
That made JESUS THE FIRST SON:
And we are also made sons and daughters by obeying Gods Will also; BUT WE OBEY IN JESUS: The first Son:

And remember; Even though the Word was risen to be the first Son: That Word also came as the Son of God: He always HAS BEEN ONE in the FATHER:

SO God wants all creation to get to know God through JESUS:
ITS THE BEST WAY FOR GOD TO MAKE CHILDREN that WANT to love HIM:
God made the angels with a certain purpose; and a ministry; they didnt have a choice; they were made for a set purpose or function;

And some of them rebelled; as if it was unfair for God to make them like robots: or as if God was partial for giving glory to His Word:
The Word must have been at the right hand and the heavens was jeleous; like what did He do to deserve glory;
SO NOW THEY SEE WHAT JESUS DID: And they see that HE is worthy of praise:

God allowed us to sin and fall into our own destructive will; and we show the angels how loving God truly is; we show them that Gods way is best:
WE show them that we dont even WANT our own wills: We want Gods Will; We show them that God is just and the devil is a liar: Being that angels wanted their own wills; satan came to earth agaisnt Gods will; he wanted his own will; BUT WE CRY OUT: let not my will be done Father;
THUS
All of this done by Jesus shows EVERYTHING and all of creation WHO GOD IS:
It shows the heavens the nature of GOD:
Its bigger then JUST US: Even though God loves us so; He also loves His angels; and He is teaching them through us; The Church
IN His most humble and wise way; He is teaching them and us; how to love and to honor what we were made through; and to see how deeply God loves us; and to just know the most high God;
This is the Fathers eternal purpose:
To show creation the nature of Himself; and its done through JESUS:
Everything shows that God knows all things; so that the angels and men can trust Him;
This is what GOD says:

God says the things spoken of by the prophets; the angels desire to see it: So they didnt really understand Gods power:
Gods Word also says:
That through US
God is teaching the heavens His goodness in JESUS:
THIS IS GODS ETERNAL PURPOSE:
Thus showing even Jesus to be ETERNAL: Praise GOD

Ephesians 3:10-11

King James Version (KJV)
10To the intent that now unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God,
11According to the eternal purpose which he purposed in Christ Jesus our Lord:

THE HEAVENS ARE LEARNING THROUGH US
REMEMBER THAT: BIG SMILE
God says the angels rejoice when we are saved; They are learning to love God more; just as we are:

1 Peter 1:12

King James Version (KJV)
12Unto whom it was revealed, that not unto themselves, but unto us they did minister the things, which are now reported unto you by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Ghost sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into.

The angels are learning too:
GOD is showing all of creation; men and angels; one thing in JESUS: WHO HE IS:
God is revealing Himself through His Word; and why not; He created everything through that same Word: The Father loves the Son; and He loves us too because of who the Son makes us to be in Himself; YES: EVEN in His risen life we live; BLESS GOD Bless you; bless all

The above text quoted by good brother is exactly what I was going to quote as well. You can also ask, why all of those lambs and goats had to die for thousands of years. It is because the shedding of blood is the only way to remit sins. That is just the nature of the sin situation. Jesus didn't have to die in that manner. The cross experience wasn't planned by God to happen that way. God didn't cause all of the Jews to agree to let Barabbas go free. He had to die, but God didn't cause the Roman soldiers to give him 39 strokes and put a crown of thorns on his head. The brutality of his death was the devil's doing.

Just wanted to share a few more things in regards to why God has allowed everything to happen the way it has:
ITS THE BEST WAY:
And in His Word I do see insight that shows us things that we may not hear in our every day lives; God has shown me things that comfort me; because i asked that question also: WHY? but we ask in Love; trusting God no matter how we feel in our minds; for with this type of trust; we give God the chance to show Himself to us; so even when i dont fully understand; I ask God; and i keep trusting the goodness of His Word:
LETS LOOK AT THIS:
FIRST:

My post implied that Jesus has always been at the right hand of God: And that it seems like the angels may have thought God to be unfair or unjust:
Why was the Lamb of God; whom is the Word of God; whom is the Son of God; Why does He get so much glory: I see the enemy of our souls to have once been a great and bright creation; and yet the Christ is at the right hand:
What did He do;
I can feel it;
I can feel the current enemy feeling: Hey i direct the choir; i make beautiful music; what has that Son done; why is the Lamb so bright; why would you make Him higher then us: Or why is He so Close to the Father; Who is He:
But first; we must line this up with the Word: does Gods word show us that Jesus has always been at the right hand:

We talked about the passage of Scripture that says the lamb was slain before the foundation of the World:
That shows us that the power that was manifest from and in Christ on the cross has always been established in the Father:
Yet it was revealed and made manifested and finished in the Son of Man: Jesus Christ:
Yet what happened always was: when it comes to Jesus:"
What the Word did was so precious; that the Father made the Sonship of that Word eternal with no beginning; This shows the MOST HIGH power of God to not be contained by ANYTHING:
For in Himself He contains all things; IN HIS WORD: JESUS

So i ask myself; is that enough to suffice to say that Jesus has always been at the RIGHT HAND:
Is that enough to say that the angels didnt understand, and through what happens on earth; they learn how holy and true the Father REALLY IS:

SO i also consider this:
Where did Jesus go when He rose to life?
HE WENT TO THE RIGHT HAND OF THE FATHER:
BUT
WAS HE THERE BEFORE HE CAME TO EARTH?
GOD SAYS WHO CAN ASCEND EXCEPT HE THAT ALSO DECENDED
DOES THAT MEAN THE DEATH OF CRIST IN REGARDS TO THE DECENTION?
or DOES IT MEAN THAT JESUS CAME FROM WHERE HE RETURNED

JESUS SAID

RETURN ME TO THE GLORY I HAD WITH THEE BEFORE THE WORLD WAS
AND WHAT GLORY DID JESUS RETURN TO
THE RIGHT HAND
THUS
HE WAS ALWAYS AT THE RIGHT HAND IF HE SAID BEFORE THE WORLD WAS

SO THE ANGELS WERE MADE TO BE JELOUS AGAINST JESUS AND ALOT OF THEM FELL
ALOT

AND NOW THEY GO AFTER THOSE THAT FOLLOW CHRIST
SINCE THEY CANT STOP HIM
THEY GO AFTER US

Rev 12:
17 Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

Thus the woman is the nation of isreal; and the child that was called up to the throne is JESUS
Thus since the enemy couldn’t stop the lamb, or since he can see that he made a fool of himself; he is raged to see why Jesus is worthy;
so He goes after those that Jesus loves: Or those that are made clean in His might;
US:
Those that seek the righteousness of God in Christ:
BUT:
God keeps us; God protects us; God loves us in spite of ourselves: SO the angels that stayed with God can see that the Father is ALL GOOD: ALL KNOWING: MOST LOVING: MOST MERCIFUL: MOST FORGIVING":
And they are glad they kept their place in Heaven:
BUT
Those that fell have a desire to keep us out of heaven: BUT
Nothing can separate us from the love of God:
WE BELIEVE IT AND LIVE IT
Showing the heavens how much God loves us: Showing them how much we love what Jesus did for us; showing them that HE IS WORTHY AMEN
