The word 'before' clearly tells us that time is involved. Perhaps I should ask when you say "God can exist before time begins", does that mean God can exist at a point in time prior to when time began?

Atheists wanting to put their knowledge of physics on display are generally anxious to tell us that time came into being with the big bang. Personally I am not sure that I buy that, but it is wondrous how things like that can slip their minds when they are proving an inconvenience, rather than a help, in arguing with theists.

Because we are not privy to the mind of God, except insofar as he chooses to make it known to us.
