To the person who sent me the pm a little over a month ago -

To honor someone is not to treat with hostility, hatred, and disrepect. It isn't to degrade, deride, or humiliate.

It isn't something that is determined by threats of how if one honors someone, then they will do this or that, or they have no honor!

It is to esteem, to hold in high regard, to value, to appeciate.

It is how Christians are called to treat one another.

1If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves.

Philippians 2:1-3

I saw my daughter perform in the Nutcracker tonight. She had the solo of the toy soldier. Man she has such a powerful form. She's so strong and it was amazing to see her do those spins.

I couldn't help but have tears in my eyes as I watched all those people performing to such beautiful music. It was awe inspiring.

So, it's amazing how everything works out! My daughter, the one I wrote about in the beginning of this thread, graduated from college this year with a bachelors in Music Performance on the cello. She had her senior recital in April and did awesome, and graduated in May. She wants to pursue her playing, and if possible find a way to use it for her career, but she is going to go back to school for a Masters in Arts Management so she has something to fall back on.

Today marks 6 years since God dragged me out of the RLDS church! Wow! It almost seems like yesterday.

That is fantastic! I remember it well, but am amazed how fast time has flown. God's blessings on you as you continue your journey. :prayer:

Okay so like, I'm bored. I don't feel like jumping into the "fray" as it were...I just thought it'd be fun to reconnect with you guys. I'm sitting here with my feet up on my desk waiting for kidlet #2 to arrive from college with his life partner tonight. He's come to help out and celebrate my coming of age tomorrow. It's me birthday. :)
