So is the Origin of Species, only that one has better evidence that the prophesies were made ahead of time and didn't suffer from selection bias. Whereas we know of many false prophets that were mentioned only briefly in the Bible and that in many cases they outnumbered the real prophets. But how to tell the difference, other than by checking whether their prophesies held or not? Yet if so, that makes the prophesies worthless as evidence of prophetic ability.

it is a prediction that the common ancestopr will be found in Africa. The fossil record supports this prediction. Fossils showing the correct characteristics and the right age have been found in Africa.
