• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Is there ANY solid creation evidence?

It matters very little to me I just made a comment.

Every country in the world has it's fair share of uneducated deadbeats, I just thought people in the US would object to some of their fellow citizens deliberatly making more.
I wont tel you how mutch i like to sea a postor using runon sentinces, mispeled werds and contratchuns complane about "uneducated deadbeats'.

Thus proving that creationists and evolutionists concepts of education are different.

Is there a point you'd like to make? if so, fire away. I can take it. ;)

My point would be that you're probably doing more harm than good for Christianity. Christianity is just not for me, and I wouldn't credit you with pushing me away from it, but I know there are a lot of reasonable people out there who would be willing to try out Christianity. What if they re-thought that decision based on the rhetoric of you and others who share your views? I know you think you're dispensing the one unalterable truth, but what if you're wrong? You may have spoiled Christianity for a lot of people (which God might not be happy about, should God exist and be the Christian one).

Oh and you might have to account for all the hours you've spent on counting threads ;)

That explains a lot. Someone needs to get out of the house.
What is even the point in this thread counting?
It hones my dexterity, keeps my mind thinking sequentially, improves my typing skills and keeps me off the streets at night.

If you didn't type numbers in order, you'd forget which one comes after the next? If you're really worried about your typing skills and dexterity, why not do some creative writing?

I'm almost certain that if a potential child of God was here reading these posts in PL&S and C&E, and see how the Bible, basic theology, and suppositions get vegomaticked, that they would hesitate.

Like I told my wife -- I wouldn't want to see anyone, including my pastor, who has two doctorates, go through what I and others go through here.

I've seen brothers and sisters come here, only to get [favorite word] vegomaticked [/favorite word] by you guys and leave frustrated.

What do you call what I do between my counting posts? poetry?

You want to see some of my examples of 'creative writing'?

Ask me where I think Noah lived before the Flood, or where the water went after the Flood (and why it went there), or why oil is found in the earth.

I'll show you some creative writing -- ;)

One has to remember that, for a creationist, posting numbers on a thread is a cerebral activity requiring exceptional mental effort and application. It really isn't fair of us to take the mickey. It isn't a level playing field.

Well, that would be as start to get on topic. How about you start 3 threads about all these points? Please also provide the evidence too.

You are only fooling yourself AV1611VET no one else.

PS. Creationists really are doing more harm than good, in fact perhaps if you could tell me ONE good thing creationism does I WILL change my mind, only one, not two, one.

PPS. I won't be holding my breath because I know what's coming.

If that were the case then none of the software would work.
You mean like it didn't with Thalidomide and the Challenger?

You're blaming creationism with that now, are you?

Not satisfied with proving how terrible you are with metaphors, you now decide to whip out your favourite proof that you're an idiot. Blimey.

Like I said AV1611VET you are only fooling yourself and no one else, do you honestly think your way of thinking is the way sensible people should think?

Well if our conversation we just had a little while ago is any indication, I'll say, "yes".

I don't particularly care for your mindset, to be honest.

It smacks of persecution.

Europe did that with another group of creationists, and the U.S. made 10 amendments to the Constitution to keep people with the mindset like you have from bringing their pogroms over here.
