Do you have a best friend?

I'm lucky to have 3 best friends. One I have been friends with since the age of 12 at school (now both 28) and the other two I met just two years ago who are like sisters to me.

My best friend got hooked on drugs again after 10 yrs of being off of them - she let her BF take advantage of us and I said enough is enough, don't know where she is anymore or how she is doing. I hope she's ok.

Well, besides God being my best friend I have my spouse. Besides those two I do have 1 very very good friend I confide in but then I also have several other women that I consider best friends also.

Karen - is the BFF - 30 yrs of friendship & counting. We can still talk for hours about nothing...LOL.
Pam - my shrink...she knows me better than me.
Gwen - my defender...she makes me get a backbone & take up for myself.
Kim - she just lets me moan/groan, cry & get it out...then plan what to do next.
Brad/Mike - they make me laugh
Kevin - makes me feel like I can take on the world...even when I know I can't.

i dont have a "best" friend (outside of my wife). i have moved so many times over the last handful of years, that it has been hard to come across a "best" friend. with that said, i do have some very good friends that i can count on for just about anything.

Same here Pauler, moving around does make it hard.

I viewed an amazing series online a while back by Robert Morris entitled "My Best Friend: The Holy Spirit". Consequently, I realized that although I have a couple really close friends, the Holy Spirit's friendship, support and love are always there.

Yes, I'm lucky to have 2 "best friends" . I've known each since we were teenagers. Our lives are quite different but we'll still very tight. They are such a blessing to me. If not for them, I might never have become a christian.

Before I got married it seems like I always had a close friend or two to hang with.
Now it seems like I want to spend the majority of my free time with my family. It's not that I could not have friends if I wanted to, it is just the time commitment I am unwilling to make. Perfectly content enjoying family life at home.

I've had one best friend for about 30 years (!) and another for 15. I can't say I have room for any more... The older I get, the more my overall circle of friends gets smaller.

same here, and some of it is refereshing to downsize, I've traveled so many places that it got overwhelming by year 13.

Nope, no best friends since I was about college age. They all moved away, got married, same old story. I spend all my time working and taking care of my son, so I have no "social life".

I have two best friends. One is male and the other is female. They are the best and ive been blessed to have them in my life for years. The female since kindergarten and the male since high school. We share with each other and are so close. We dont live near one another but we have a strong bond of friendship that can never be broken. i love my friends. All of them. they are wonderful gifts from god. :^)
