CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS- What the heck is wrong with this weather? Here today it was 105° at 3pm. It's almost 7pm and it's like 55°. I was melting earlier, now I need to put on socks and a sweatshirt. What gives?!

I agree. I am already groaning just thinking about heading back into work tomorrow.
IJWTS- that it's very annoying to make the effort to go vacuum out your car only to realize when you get there that you have no cash or coins. Why don't they make vacuum machines that take credit cards??

IJWTS I will try to get a picture of him tonight.
The mancubs were so excited when I told them this morning. The youngest MC had just asked me for one when we were at the pet store this weekend and I told him we have plenty of turtles in the pond out back. He insisted that we didn't have any as small as the ones at the pet store. Bob is about the size of a silver dollar.
