CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

IJWTS - Just when you think you've caught up with homework porfessors like to pile it on ya for the weekends.

IJWTS I am so tired of people assuming I've gotten PREGNANT when anything is wrong with me. No, I am SICK. Really super badly sick! Multiple kinds of sick. Almost going to the emergency room type of sick. I wish people would stop getting excited when I get sick!!!! Throwing up every 30 minutes is not EXCITING.

IJWTS-My aunt has a cat that looks like a skinny (non-fluffy, except for the tail) Maine Coon. I'm wondering if she's a mix between a short haired cat of some random sort and a Maine Coon. She's beautiful, although a little more vocal than I'd prefer. There's no way of knowing for certain (without expensive testing, I guess) because my other aunt rescued her last Halloween from the streets when she was a tiny thing.

IJWTS ... to cut the hair ... or not cut the hair ... I wish I had someone who could cut hair that I knew and trusted! I always have to take my chances with strangers, and I'm always scared to death. The last time, I told them to cut it so it would come just past my ears (NOT to layer it) and they hacked it up until I looked like a boy. I was SO upset.
