I was beginning to think I would not live to see the day.
But then I have heard that if you give a monkey a typewriter, sooner or later he'll type a word.

Why not test the revelation against Scripture and see if it's genuine or not?
And it's fun to know that you think any Marian apparition is demonic. Gives a sense of where you're coming from.
Now I am really gonna take down all your law posts with even greater ease, since they never are a challenge to my amphibian brain.![]()
[/QUOTE]God classified the dead as departed, he said not to contact them becuase he knew they were still somewhere. you need to stop this wordplay.God is a God of the living not of the dead. We are all alive in Christ.
So they why did supposedly dead men show up on a mountain that living people saw?
To all my Catholic friends..
You guys simply must...must..stop offending the superior protestant mind by trying the bill Clinton tactic of saying mary is not dead.
Protestants understand the meaning of dead to be departed, yes, we know they are all alive somewhere.![]()
Rebuking the spirit in Jesus's name is a test.

.............................Wow................... now your position becomes fully clear. Protestants have superior sound minds, while everyone who believes in the Communion of Saints has an unsound mind.
Disturbing, but not surprising.
Death is only physical. Those who die in God's grace are alive in Christ, and are never fully departed from the Church. In fact, they are more perfectly united with it.
Ok, and what if it doesn't burst into holy fire and writhe at Jesus' name and disappear? What then?
Ok..come on now, just a little joke about the superior...Jeesh!
Does God understand that when he did not want the DEAD contacted, that they were called DEAD, but still existing in another dimension?
Yet..he did not want the DEAD contacted. NO?
Superior minds want to know?![]()
In biblical terms it is called a vision.
Which is what all apparitions are. So, if we now agree there are visions/apparitions in the Bible, what makes Marian apparitions so special that they must be demonic, besides most of them being found in Catholicism?
Does that mean she was resurrected and assumpted up to heaven? From one thread to another...
Well we don't believe Mary's dead; that she is as alive as anyone, and more so.
Okay; and we have a different understanding than you on what that "alive somewhere" is. Is that questioning the meaning of "is"?
Leviticus 20:6 says "Should anyone turn to mediums and fortune-tellers and follow their wanton ways. I will turn against such a one and cut him off from his people."
verse 27 says "A man or a woman who acts as a medium or fortune-teller shall be put to death by stoning."
Anyone who tries to communicate with the dead is 'acting' as a medium.
Both of these come to light in the Medium of Endor (1 Samuel 28:8-11) where Saul disbelieved in the power of God to save him, and went to find other means of salvation. If this is what a person praying to Mary or to the saints is doing, he is commiting a sin.
Prayer to Mary is not the same concept as what Saul did; a person does not disbelieve in the power of God, and think that Mary will be able to succeed where God supposedly failed; it is asking for prayer from one who is much closer to God than we are.
Where does The Bible say that Mary is closer to God than we are? I am His child, bought by the blood of Jesus and Jesus told me, in the Bible, to pray to our Father. I don't need to do anything but go straight to Him! How can Mary get a prayer to Him better or faster than I can?
None of the passages above say anything about what we are talking about; all are alive in Christ. Just because they exist differently then we do does not mean they are no longer members of the Body of Christ, or that they are some brainless force floating around somewhere; Revelation sees them as still very involved in spiritual warfare (i.e. Rev. 7:9-11).
Necromancy is turning away from God; asking for intercession is turning to him, just as asking you to pray for me is turning to him.
Why would you not just go straight to God yourself?
Does that mean she was resurrected and assumpted up to heaven?
According to Paul in 2 Tim 2, the Faith of many were being shipwrecked for saying the resurrection was already past. Pretty interesting...... Thoughts?

The Assumption Of The Blessed Virgin
2 Timo 2:17 And their message will spread like cancer/gangrene. Hymenaeus and Philetus are of this sort,
18 Who-any about the truth deviate saying the Resurrection already to have become and are reverting/overthrowing the of any Faith.
Reve 20:5 The rest of the dead-ones not live until should be being finished the thousands years.
This the Resurrection, the First/prwth <4413>.
