  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I can't stand it when people on CF defend the Hutaree militia terrorists, talking about them as if they were just some group of law-abiding Christians who were nefariously set upon by our wicked, evil regime of a government which is rapidly morphing into the Beast of Revelations.

I feel like some people just aren't understanding just what it was they wanted to do. Its so irritating. If these people were Muslim, instead of nominal Christians, they'd be jumping all over them, and calling for the law to be laid down. Instead, the government is the oppressive tool of the Antichrist. Ugh.

Yes, though the friends I've made here are gracious enough to let me drop in and say hi now and again.

Be well.

We chatted with you for a long time - we were comfortable with you and enjoyed your company. Why should that change because your beliefs have changed ?

Enjoy the fellowship here - you know the boundaries and we know you won't overstep them.

Corn syrup soda is too sweet.....ew! We have the sugar stuff here, but can get American soda if we know where to look and are prepared to pay $3.00 for a can. I do it occasionally to get a taste of cherry coke or strawberry fanta (we don't have either here).

YAY for Throwbacks!!

I am especailly fond of Mountain Dew Throwback. Great stuff.

I somewhat envy Kyri, who says American food is much sweeter than stuff down under... if only that were true here! Some of the sweets found here are so disgustingly sweet I can't eat them!

The Mountain Dew is great. I've stocked up a few cases in the basement. Mountain Dew isn't at all as sweet in Europe and not as violent in color either...
Sure you can find super sweet stuff there too but overall it seems like they add a bit less of the sweet.

I am curious as to how the diabetes rate compares. It wouldn't surprised me one bit to find out that the diabetes rate in the US is far above other countries.

I am especially fond of my #87 Sidney Crosby powder blue Throwback jersey. Although my #43 Troy Polamalu Throwback jersey is pretty awesome in it's own right.
